I watched as After left the room, smirking. He had a cute ass~
I felt someone hit me upside the head, which made me wince.
"Really, Sans?" I hissed softly, glaring at the dark blue Angel.
He glared at me, shaking his head.
"Stop being a pervert. Geno's been through a lot." He warned me.
"Geno... So that's his name?" I questioned, getting a confused look.
"He didn't tell you his name?" Sans seemed surprised by this... Why? Is the little monster trusting to everyone but me? Does he know what I am, but is in denial?
"No... He told me to call him After." I growled softly.
The little Angel sighed, shaking his head, glancing back at the hallway Geno went down... It's such a fitting name for someone so on edge, waiting for a fight to happen~ He'll be a perfect Demon one day~
"I thought he grew out of that..." The smaller skeleton mumbled, earning a confused look from me.
"What? Grew out of what?" I whispered, snapping my fingers to get everything cleaned up.
The Angel looked at me with worry in his eyes. True, and genuine worry... But for who?
"He's been hurt a lot... That's all I know..." He paused for a second, seemingly concerned on what he was going to say next... Like he was wondering on how I was going to react. "Chara, a favorite Demon of yours, was once a worker here and tried to kill him... He actually got a scar because of it... He already had trust issues, but after what Chara did, they seemed to have worsened... I thought he was getting better..."
I stiffened, something inside me growing angry. Chara had hurt him? Is that why he's so on guard?
"Why?" I hissed, wanting to know everything. Yet the pesky do-gooder shrugged, confusion on his own face.
"I don't know... Just one day the kid snapped and tried to kill both Frisk and Geno... Geno was able to fight them off until the police got here, but the guy was hurt pretty bad... Permanent scar on his chest... Something nasty I heard... Which isn't good..."
We both shared a concerned look... Geno was a mortal and Chara's a demon now... Most of the time demons as powerful as the kid, they'd go after those who had escaped their death... I just really hope the missions that I send the brat on are keeping her busy...
"Reaper, I'm done! Grab your coat!" The small mortal called out, walking down the hallway.
"Bye." Sans whispered before teleporting away.
I did as I was told by the small mortal and pulled on the jacket, making it seem like I wasn't talking with someone. He looked completely exhausted anyways... Dealing with rude mortals and having been up hours before the sun... Yeah, I'd be tired too, if it wasn't for the fact that I thrive during the night.
We walked to the car in silence. Well, I walked and Geno stumbled a bit.
He got in the driver's seat, which made me worry... I may want him to become a Demon and all, but I don't want him to die because he wasn't getting enough rest!
I kept my eyes on him for most of the ride, he concentrating on the road ahead of us. He yawned now and then, but it wasn't anything too bad.
"Are we working tomorrow?" I really hope not.
"No... The shop normally is closed on the weekends, but I needed some extra money for some assholes who're upping my bills..." He murmured, his speech slightly slurred.
"Good..." I whispered, he nodding along.
Carefully, he pulled up in the drive way and exited the vehicle after parking it and turning it off. I too got out and hurried to the door.
The poor mortal stumbled down the hall to his room, while I played a smirk on my face. The four roommates know what I am... Meaning that this was going to be good now that he was going to sleep.
I can finally relieve myself of some stress~
