About Last Night

Chapter Eight

"Oh my God! Lord help me" nanginginig na ako.

Napatili ako ng biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko.

"He...llo." Nanginginig kung sagot. Hindi ko kilalang numero ang nakarehistro sa screen.

"Hi Lucia. This is Brendon. Sorry for disturbi— hindi na nito natapos ang sasabihin kasi tumili ako ng malakas ng may kalabog akong narinig sa pintuan.

"Hello"

"Hello"

"Lucia are you okay?"

"Is there something wrong? Shit! " nataranta na si Brendon ng wala ng sumagot sa kabilang linya.

Brendon's POV

Kakadating ko pa lang sa condo matapos ang nakakapagod na maghapon.

Sobrang hectic pa din ang schedule ko sa hotel pero habang tumatagal nakakasanayan ko na ang ginagawa ko.

Well, to be honest Im getting used to it. Or should I say Im enjoying it for some reason. Then he smiled.

"Oh what the f*$k." Nabigkas kong bigla dahil pumasok sa isip ko ang imahe ng aking secretary.

Bakit ba hindi mawala wala sa isip ko ang mukha niya. Her expressions whenever Im looking at her always amazed me.

Then I remember how I acted like immature towards her today. It reminds me when I saw her cry. There is a guilt feeling but I still finds her cute. Her cheeks and nose becomes red while trying to hide her tears.

"Oh crap. I should have atleast said sorry. " sabi ng isip ko.

"Should I call her?"

I pick up my cellphone and try to practice what I should tell her.

"Hi Lucia, I just want to say sorry for what I said." No. no.

"Hi Lucia errrr...." ang hirap mag isip ng sasabihin.

Nakatitig ako sa number nya. "Wag na nga."

I decided not to call her but when I put my cellphone down I accidentally press the screen and dialed her number.

"Oh shit." Natigilan na lang ako ng magsimula ng magring ang kabilang linya.

"He...llo." I heard her voice stammer on the other line. Napakunot ang noo ko.

"Hi Lucia. This is Brendon. Sorry for disturbi— then I heard her scream loud.

"HELLO!"

"HELLO"

"Lucia are you okay?"

"Is there something wrong?" Tanong ko ulit.

"I'm scared! " I heard her whispering and sobbing at the same time. "Parang merong nagbubukas ng pintuan ng apartment ko" pabulong nitong dagdag.

"Okay calm down. Send me your location. Dont be scared. Stay at your room." I tried to keep her calm. When I saw the location she sent me, I feel kinda relieved.

"Lucia! Hey Lucia. Are you listening?" Tanong ko dito.

"Yes Sir. I'm scared. " I know from her voice that she's crying.

"Ten minutes and I'll be there. Just keep yourself in your room. Lock the door." Nagmamadali akong umalis ng condo.

Her location is very near in my condo. I bought a condo in Silk Residences Sta. Mesa Manila and the location she sent me is somewhere near in LRT Pureza Station.
