Different But Not Bad

Chapter 4 {UA! and fourth Guardian?}

Today is the day that Aizawa-Kun told me that he's going to take me to Yuuie and I can't wait!

I got out of bed and stretched, noticing Aizawa wasn't in the bed when I woke up. I quickly took a shower and brushed my teeth while trying to control the rat's nest of my hair. I got dressed in some of the new clothes that Aizawa got me yesterday which consisted of a galaxy shirt, a green plaid hoodie, black cargo shorts, and my red and white shoes. I quickly finished the leftover Onigiri in the fridge as I heard Aizawa's key's jingle as he grabbed them.

"C'mon Izuku, let's go we don't want to be late."

I heard him call as I tucked the silver steampunk pocket watch in the pocket of my shorts so the silver chain was hanging from the pocket. I grabbed my yellow backpack as I ran to the door where Aizawa was already outside.

We walked until we reached the school that Shouta worked at, and let me say, it was huge. I walked with him through the halls until we reached the teacher's lounge. When we entered we were swarmed with other teachers, well, I was swarmed Aizawa just stood there.

(Begining of class)

Before we entered his classroom Aizawa took me to the side and I looked at him, confused. "So, Higashi is your guard too, I suppose?" I panicked a little, "How-why do you say that?" He sighed and shook his head "There's no use lying, she wears almost the same gold things with a gem just like the others. Though there are some days she doesn't have it on." I sighed and nodded, I'll have to talk to her about that. He smiled, "I won't tell."

And we entered the classroom, it was very noisy. I didn't know anyone there except three people that I recognized. My best friend, a blond-haired boy by the name of Katsuki Bakugou, and his boyfriend, a red-haired boy, Eijiro Kirishima. The only other person I recognized in the room was a neon orange-haired female, Shiria Higashi.

Quirk: Color Tiles: The user makes glowing tiles appear on the ground and dances on them, causing electric-like surges to go through the opponent: Drawbacks: It makes the user tired during and after Quirk use so it isn't uncommon to find the user sleeping. The user can sleep just about anywhere unless it's quiet, the curse of this Quirk.

Kacchan and Kirishima were speaking from either side of Higashi as she just had her head laid down on her desk, she was truly hibernating. She was small and not just height-wise. Anyone who looked at her would say she was malnourished which would be true. I don't understand why she didn't just eat a healthy amount of food, she clearly could.

As soon as we walked in the room went dead silent, except for the two, they kept talking until they noticed me, then they sat down in their seats that were nowhere near her desk. Which was right next to her brother's in the front. The pupil's eyes watched Aizawa as he walked to the front of the class and his eyes cast over the teenagers, he cleared his throat and gestured to me. "This is Izuku Midoriya, he will be joining us for the day."

All at once, the class jumped up and swarmed me, asking me questions. A sharp pencil was thrown over my head and pinned on the board behind me, only about two inches above my head, that shut them up despite it only being a pencil. A very sharp one.

"Shut up and sit down, it's just a kid!"

Bakugou's voice chimed and the students hurried to their seats. I mouthed a small 'Thank you' to Kacchan and I would've given one to Higashi, but she had turned her head as she slept. "Well, this is still class so please give Deku your names and Quirks." The students stood up and started introducing themselves.

"Ochaco Uraraka! Zero Gravity."
"Tenya Iida! Engine."
"Tsuyu Asui! Frog."
"..."
"Momo Yaoyorozu! Creation."
"Fumikage Tokoyami! Dark Shadow."
"Denki Kaminari! Electrification."
"Shoto Todoroki, Half-Hot Half-Cold."
"Mina Ashido! Acid."
"Yugo Aoyama! Navell Laser."

"Kyoka Jiro! Earphone Jack."
"Mezo Shoji! Dupli-Arms."
"Mashirao Ojiro! Tail."
"Hanta Sero! Tape."
"Toru Hagakure! Invisibility."
"Rikido Sato! Sugar Rush."
"Katsuki Bakugou, Explosion."
"Eijiro Kirishima! Hardening."

I looked at Higashi, expectingly, but she didn't move. Kaminari dismissed her with a wave, "Don't mind her, it took us an entire three days just to hear her say her name," but she stood up and yawned stretching her limbs until they popped. She craned her neck and scratched her collar, causing it to turn a slight red against her pale skin. She strained her back until that cracked too, "Shiria Higashi, and Quirk-" she yawned again and sat down back down. "-don't have to tell you if I don't wanna." Then went back to sleep.

(Time Skip)

It was lunch and I had mine in my hand. I had told Aizawa that I was going to eat with the students and he let me. I walked into the lunchroom and it was hell, kids were throwing food and Quirks were being used. As soon as 1-A spotted me Ashido jumped up and beckoned me over, "C'mere Midroriya, come sit with us!" But I looked around and spotted Kacchan, Kirishima, and Higashi sitting at a table all by themselves. I shook my head at 1-A and pointed to their table and started walking to Bakugou's table.

I plopped down on a seat next to Bakugou, "Hi!" Kacchan gave me a side smile and went back to eating his curry. Kirishima greeted me, "Hi Midoriya, I heard what happened to the orphanage, I hope it's okay." I shrugged "Eh if we're lucky it'll get rebuilt near the park." I convinced "But I still have a question-" I turned to look at Higashi from across the table "-why a pencil?" She yawned and gave a lazy dismissal wave then rested her head against the table, "It was the first thing I could grab from my bag and, hey, it shut them up." She pointed her fork at me and I chuckled, she didn't even have any food in front of her. "True."

(Time Skip, I'm sorry)

Shouta and I were walking home when "Aizawa-Sensei!"

We turned around and was met with Higashi running towards us. Aizawa leaned towards me and whispered, "This is probably the most I have ever seen her run," I nudged him lightly, "As if you don't sleep all day." She stopped in front of Aizawa, panting. She was really only about two or three inches shorter than me.

She huffed and saluted at Aizawa while he just looked confused, "I know fully that you know I'm Izuku's guardian, but that doesn't mean you really know me yet." She smirked, "I'm Shiria Higashi, Izuku's fourth and youngest Guardian! So beware I will sleep on the job."
