There were whispers from the crowd when I got back in my seat. After finding out Aoyama was fine and just wanted to stay with Recovery Girl I made my way back to the stands, she also kicked me out when her newest patient was hauled in. The bruise on my shoulder wasn't that bad so it wasn't gonna hurt as much. Stopped at the bathroom before that, learned Katsuki won their round, of course, he did. Izuku and Shoto's match was a tougher one. I could hear everything while chatting with Aoyama and almost couldn't hear each other over the deafening booms of ice being destroyed. Shoto won, though. When I sat down in my seat in the front Denki was immediately at my side, "So... where'd you go, man?"
"Had to piss real bad." He made a face, "You missed the ending of Bakugou's fight, the rest of Kirishima's and the entirety of Todoroki and Midoriya's! To pee!?" I sighed, "I also went to check up on Aoyama and talked a bit until Recovery Girl kicked me out." I laughed, "For an old lady she's kinda terrifying." I sighed again but this one held more sadness, "I saw Izuku being hauled into the office, the fuck happened when I was gone?" This time it was his turn to laugh, "You shoulda seen him! First, he started popping up in different places!" Nightmare. "Then, this one time when he popped up, there was this fucking star bomb or some shit in his hand and he chucked it at Todoroki! He didn't even know what to do so he covered it in ice!" Shooting Stars. "Then, when Todoroki shot his ice he like made this hot air from his mouth and melted the ice but more ice kept coming and it stopped him in mid-air but he touched it and it turned into some crystal! Oh! Then the crystal turned into this giant hammer and hit Todoroki to the edge of the arena but because he's stubborn he didn't get out!" I nodded, that was an interesting way to use Shards. I didn't even know Daichi could release her heat. But none of that explained why Izuku came in with broken legs and arms. "Oi! Shut the fuck up, Dunce Face!" I turned to Katsuki and let out a snicker when Denki huffed in his seat and slumped, I rubbed his shoulder, "Hey, man, Katsuki's just jealous you get to tell the tale and he can't." He chuckled. I looked down at the stage, it was still being repaired. I nudged Denki in the arm with my elbow, "Yo, who am I going against?" He looked at me with a smirk, "Iida." I groaned and slumped down next to him, "The class rep?" But I sat up straight, ignoring the kinks in my back, and brought a hand through my hair to slick it back, I tugged at my hair after I got my hand stuck in the knots. "Look's like I'll have to bring out the Higashi charm for this high-class hero." He snickered and lightly punched me in my arm after I untangled myself. "I hope you aren't cheating on me." I looked at him with indignity, "I'll flirt with whoever I want! You're not my boyfriend!" He held his chest and leaned to the side as if I just shot him, "Nooooo! I thought I was bae!" "Nah, you're just fam."
We both laughed but stopped when we could feel Katsuki's glare on the back of our heads. The crowd started cheering again when the screens came back online, my eyes widened and I scrambled to my feet. "Shit! Our match is right now?! I gotta go!" I ran down the stairs and the halls until I found the light again. Light at the end of the tunnel, am I right? Okay, that isn't the best joke I've ever said. In hindsight, running all the way here wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done but I was 15th in class so I also wasn't the smartest, give me a break. I took deep breaths, how the ever-loving fuck was I gonna win against Tenya-fucking-Iida?! He was the brother of the Pro Hero Ingenium, apart of a high-class family, went to a private school, and was a hard-working student! Meanwhile, I was the 'brother' of Yugo Aoyama, Shiori was a middle-class 'worker', I don't even fucking know where she went to school, and I slept during classes and training! I couldn't even begin to compare to someone like him! "Just try your best, ain't none of that gonna matter when this fight starts.'" I nodded and steeled my nerves, she was right, I couldn't let my insecurities block out something as important as this! Pro Heroes were gonna be looking down at me as well as my classmates and judging us and... that did nothing to help. I shook my head and made my way out of the tunnel and up to the stage. I could see Iida's hair peeking out from the top of the stage, he was so tall and strong! I am literally 94 pounds mushed into a 5.2 frame and literally no muscles, even Denki was stronger than me! I hated it!
