My ribs hurt and my lungs burned to the point where it hurt to walk and talk. It wasn't unbearable, to others it might've been but it was like Izuku's Quirk was working overtime to keep me from passing out. I was right about... the wound on my neck and I'm pretty sure it was gone before morning. I was still going to class even if I was hurt or not so I asked Aoyama to help me walk to school, it was easier said then done. Of course, we lived close to the school but with the pain in both my lungs and my stomach, it hurt like hell to keep up with him even if he was the one supporting me. When we did get to school he led me through the halls and to the room that the others were in, everyone seemed to be there. We looked around and was met with everyone staring at us, but not in silence, as Aoyama led me to my seat between himself and Shouji in the front. He carefully placed me in my seat and as soon as I sat down Izuku rushed from Aizawa's side to mine, "What happened? You were able to walk yesterday." I sighed as I placed my bag under my desk, "I didn't think I was going to be so sore and, remember, my lung will take a few days to heal with your Quirk so you can't expect me to not be in pain." I explained and he pouted as he shuffled back to Aizawa's side in the front of the room, even he had his share of attacks. He sighed before he started speaking to the class and they quieted down at the sound of his voice,

"Although I do not agree with Principle Nezu, the Sports Festival is right around the corner."

I could hear the room gasp and I barely heard my own over everybody else's. Iida stood up, "After what happened yesterday I do not think that this is a good idea!" He protested but Aizawa simply shook his head, "And like I said, I did not agree with Nezu but he pays us so we might as well listen." He finished and the whole class went silent. A groan escaped my lips and I clutched my stomach, "I don't think I'll be ready for that yet!" I complained. "It will be in two weeks, hopefully, your body heals by then." He spared me a glance and turned around to write on the board. I sent him a glare to the back of his head, of course my body will be healed, I can already feel it adapting. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned against the back of my chair, I didn't feel tired and it felt weird to admit it.

(Time Skip)

After class it was time for lunch, the bell signaling it. Everyone bustled to the door and I stayed sitting where I was at my desk, though the pain in my stomach had noticeably lessened. Aoyama came to where I was and helped me up, I grabbed my 'lunch' from under my desk and we made our way to the lunchroom. I tugged at his arm as we got closer to the crowd, "We're eating outside today." He looked confused but he pulled me outside to the front. He placed me down so my back was against a tree, he pulled out his own lunch, sat down, and started to eat it. I didn't even look at mine until he was halfway finished with his, "Which powerhouse did he give you?" He looked up, mid-bite, and continued chewing slower. He swallowed, "What does that mean, mademoiselle?" I rolled my eyes and grabbed the small container of grapes that served as my lunch, that name fucking annoys me. I ate faster than him, wanting to get this over with. I finished half of the container and he was still silent, "Who did he give you to train with? Who's contract did he transfer to your hands so you could get used to using his Quirk," I leaned back so my head was to the trunk of the tree, "He had to have given you something or someone to practice summoning with, he wouldn't make you do it on someone he didn't trust! He also doesn't have anyone else, he only made one contract himself, the rest came with the Quirk." I plopped a grape into my mouth as he looked into the distance. "You." He mumbled and I choked on the grape, "I'm sorry, what?" "You," he repeated in a louder tone of voice. I swallowed my food and smiled uneasily,

"Haha Aoyama, nice trick. Now stop with the pranks, who did he give you to practice with?!"

He took a deep breath, "He gave me you," he retorted slower as if the speed had any reason as to why I didn't understand him. I leaned forward, "He-he can't have, he shouldn't have!" I looked to the sky, "Izuku, what are you planning?" Aoyama started to pack the leftovers from his lunch back in his bag, "Is there something wrong with training with me?" I whipped my head towards him then held my neck with one hand, "Ow-no! There's nothing wrong with you, its just-he could have given you anyone to practice with but he gave you me," I frowned and rubbed my neck, "The others have been passed down to each of Izuku's family members on his dad's side, they understand what it's like to change summoners, but I'm barely older then you Aoyama, I don't understand any of this." I sighed and cradled my head in my arms. He scooted over and pat my back with a gentle smile, "Nine years isn't barely older, and it'll be okay, we'll learn together." The bell rang again, signaling the end of our lunch period. He stood up and grabbed both of our bags in one hand, then he turned around and offered me his other hand, "We should get going, we can practice more of," he waved his free arm around "this, after school." I looked back at him and grinned then took his hand, "Yeah, let's go," he hoisted me up and he supported half my weight as we walked back to class, uncertainty left behind.
