As soon as I walked into my apartment I headed towards the kitchen to make some ramen before I changed and went to bed. Once I got everything I needed my phone started to go off and I looked at the Id caller only for it to say 'Nemuri' I groaned and picked it up.

"What?" I snapped "Woah, chill out I have a message from Nezu." "Okay? what is it?" "He said some of the kids will be taken care of by Pro Heroes and that kid, Izuku? well, they want him to go with you" "Why?" I questioned her."Two reasons, one, you're the first one he had an actual conversation with for the first time in the thirteen years he has been there." "That kinda makes sense, but what's the second reason?" "Well I don't really believe them but they said that his Quirk is dangerous and you'll be able to control it when it comes to it." "Why?" "Don't know but you have to come and pick him up now." "Now?" "Yes, now Aizawa." "Fine."

As I hung up the phone, I'll never admit it but I was happy, what for? no idea. I left everything on the counter deciding that I would make dinner once Deku was here. I grabbed my keys and put my phone back in my pocket as I walked outside and locked the door and walked to my car and drove to the temporary place where they all were.

Once I was there I saw Midnight and Nezu talking to the lady that runs the orphanage and once Midnight saw me she came running to me with Nezu close behind, when she was in front of me she stopped. The way she smiled at me kinda scared me and Nezu was staring at me oddly and I looked back at them just the same.

"What? It's late and I want to go to bed-" "-Didn't think you'd actually come-" "-So you do care about Midoriya!" Snipe's voice came from behind me and I jumped from surprise. "It's a hero's job to take care of others..." I muttered in response. "Yes, but you could've said no and Midoriya would've gone with another hero," Nezu said in a matter-of-factly tone. I groaned at them.

"I'm just here to get Deku, that's al.l" "Deku?" Midnight questioned, "He told me to call him that because It's his nickname." I replied. The woman from before, Satomi, walked out with Deku trailing behind her with a small bag and a shaken look on his face while she looked pleased with herself.

Once Deku saw me he ran to me and hugged my torso while Midnight and All Might awed. When he let go he quickly held my hand and I looked down at him and gave him a small smile so the others couldn't see it. "Let's go, kid," I said and we walked towards my car, and I put his stuff in the back. He hopped in the passenger's seat and got his seatbelt on while I put the keys in the ignition and started the car.

"I'm making ramen for dinner, kid," I said as we were driving off. I glanced in his direction and noticed that he was staring out the window, spaced out. After a few minutes of silence, I asked, "Kid, what's wro-" "-Do you think I can become a hero?" The question catches me off guard, but the way he said it made me tense up, he sounded so sad.

"Listen, kid, I think anyone can be a hero if you use your Quirk for good even if it's 'villain-like'" "So I can become a hero?" He was looking at me now with big, green, round eyes. I side-smiled and ruffled his hair in a friendly manner, "Yeah, kid, even you." As we were pulling into the parking lot of my apartment I glanced at him again and saw that he was smiling and looking out the window with awe.

We walked into the lobby and into the elevator while I punched in my floor number. Once the elevator opened he followed me to my apartment and walked inside while I was behind him. I led him to my living room where I sat him down on the couch, took his bag, and gave him the remote. "Here, kid, watch what you want while I make dinner, I'll call you when it's done." he smiled and nodded. I placed his bag on my bed and went to the kitchen. Despite Hizashi and I being married for four years, we didn't live together because of the risk. But someday we'll move in together and get so many cats.
