If I told you I woke up right before Ochako and Katsuki's fight I wouldn't be kidding. I still don't know how I managed to sleep through the entirety of Eijiro's fight, even Akasuki doesn't know how she fell asleep with me. She said something about how Eijiro and the other guy's fight was dragged on since the other activity ended with a tie. She luckily managed to shock me awake before anything exciting happened. I fell off my chair with a yelp when the shocks got to my heart and poked my head up over the edge to see the two of them. I settled myself back in my chair and leaned forward, this wasn't a very safe matchup. It was like when Shoto and Hanta fought, completely unfair in strategy and strength. It wasn't like I was doubting Ochako it was just the fact she'd have a completely unfair disadvantage against Katsuki and his Quirk.
"-- From the hero course, it's Katsuki Bakugou!" What the fuck was he doing with his face? "Versus-- She's the one I'm rooting for!" I snorted, real smooth Mic, even Akasuki found it amusing. "From the hero course, it's Ochako Uraraka!" She had a frown set on her features and I leaned forward with my chin on my hands and my elbows on my knees. The two were having a really intense staring contest down there like the first one to blink would forfeit. "Eighth match, start!" Katsuki's explosions were strong, I've never felt them myself but I've heard how badly they hurt from Hanta in the Battle Trial the second week of school. I was against Eijiro and Tokoyami with Toru as my partner, you could guess who won. It wasn't us if that's what you're thinking. Ochako ran at Katsuki with her body low and her hands out like she was gonna grab him. He pulled his right arm back, he always started with a big right swing. He swung his hand up as she got closer and an explosion hit the floor and threw her back. It wasn't enough to knock her off her feet but it was enough to push her back some. "Even though you're fighting a girl, you have no mercy, do you, Bakugou?" It sure didn't look like he had any. The smoke wasn't cleared but there was a commotion to his side and he sent an explosion to it but found it was just the tracksuit jacket, no Ochako inside it. "Oh, she made her jacket float and sent it over there?! She did it in an instant, too!" She appeared behind him as he was still crouching above her jacket and extended her hand. It was an impulse reaction when he stood up and sent a line of explosions to drive her away, she rolled but managed to get herself up. She ran at him again but he barely seemed fazed at he sent another explosion to the ground that, again, covered his opponent in smoke and heat. I started to tear at the skin around my nail, the fuck was he thinking? I thought he was taking Anger Management from Hound Dog! Though to my delightful surprise, she was still standing and got behind him with an extended hand.
Katsuki's explosions never ceased, "Ochako..." "I can't watch!" It'll be alright Tsu, Kyoka. I heard Hanta in the background, "Bakugou, don't tell me... your tastes run in that direction..." I saw Denki flinch away from his friend. I tried to hide the hurt on my face, right, the four of us weren't out to the class yet. Eijiro and Katsuki just seemed close to the unknowing eye while Denki was seen only ever flirting with girls. I... I didn't look like much anyway, but my flat chest did sometimes help my gender dysphoria. Anytime Ochako got close Katsuki would always just let out an explosion and send her back, I could feel how amazed Akasuki was at how she was still standing. "Uraraka keeps attacking without rest, but... this is..." Mic trailed off, I never thought he could be this silent. The entire crowd was silent and anyone could see why. Akasuki kept her red eyes trained above us, though. Her amazed aura was replaced promptly by fear, an overwhelming sense of panic. Soon a Pro Hero stood up "Hey! How can you say you want to be a hero like that?! If there's such a huge difference in your abilities, then hurry up and send her out of bounds!" I cringed, of course they didn't know Katsuki. The way he was acting now, he was getting frantic, Ochako was managing to keep going after all of his explosions he was sending her way and now he was getting nervous, what else could he send at her to keep her at bay? Would it keep her for long enough? Or would she just move past it again? But even because of this, his actions weren't gonna go unnoticed. "Stop bullying and playing with the poor girl!" Akasuki nudged me in the shoulder to get my attention and I pried my eyes away from the crowd, "Yeah! Yeah!" She pointed up with a look of profound terror and I looked at it with wide eyes, is that what Ochako was-- Wait no! If she releases them-- The crowd started booing at Katsuki and I snapped my head back to watch, doing my best to keep my growing fear at bay. "There's booing from part of the crowd... But honestly, I also feel the sa--" He was cut off, "An elbow?! What're ya doing'?!" I frowned, "Was that a pro saying he's playing around?" Ah shit, sensei's brought out the 'dad' voice. Joking doesn't always help trauma, I reminded myself. "How many years have you been a pro? If you're saying that with a straight face, there's no point in you watching anymore, so go home! Go home, and look into changing careers!" I nodded and leaned back, shit man, spitting straight facts here. Ah! but joking always worked best.
