A Child's Eyes

When I finish reading it I'm in tears, I find the key and the rings. I look at Lucifer and he is just looking at me, he sees the fear and sadness in my eyes and just holds me.

I knew what I had to do, stay away, just until everything was over. I wanted a different childhood but I didn't get that, and I want my child to have a perfect mommy, and I'm scared because I don't have my mother anymore. A child sees so much in a different way than adults, they understand things even if you think they don't. I don't want to be a bad mother.

I wake up the next morning feeling sick, not knowing why, I run to the bathroom and throw up; Lucifer right behind me to hold my hair back. I sit on the floor and press myself against his chest crying because of gagging. I've felt funny for a few days but I blew it off saying it was because my mom and my father.

Lucifer falls asleep on the floor so I go into the cabinet and grab the little pink box, with words in big print PREGNANCY TEST. Terrified I open the box and read the instructions. It said the test only took two minutes so I could take it before Lucifer wakes, and I do. Two minutes pass and I look at the stick and almost scream, two lines, two on the damn stick. I am pregnant; I don't know what to do...

I hide the stick in my drawer and wake up Lucifer, begging him to come lay with me and he does for an hour before he gets up for work. "Hey, Alice are you okay babe?"

"Yeah, why" I replied scared

"Well you got sick, are you feeling all right?"

"I'll talk to you after work okay? We have school tomorrow and graduation is In a week"

"Okay, love you"

"Love you too"

I sit thinking all day about what to tell him, I wish I knew, I want my mom, I spend the rest of the last few hours crying, scared about of he will want me to abort the baby or if he will leave me. Until, he walks into the house and finds me asleep on the bed gripping the test.
