He doesn't wake me or try to move me in any way; he just lays there next to me until I wake up later that night. Terrified, I look at his sleeping face, he is peaceful. I quietly get up and use the bathroom, placing the test on the dresser for later.
When I come out of the bathroom Lucifer is still sleeping so I go to the dining room and start to write a letter to my father, though he will never get it; and I will never send it. While writing the letter Lucifer stalks up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me into a hug.
"I'm glad to be the father of this child, Alice" Lucifer whispers into my ear and kisses my neck.
"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you as soon as I found out love, I was scared"
"You never have to be scared to talk to me"
"What am I gonna do?"
"What do you mean?" Lucifer asks hugging tighter
"School, the pregnancy, I have enough credits to graduate early; I can do that"
"Alice, is that what you want to do?"
"Yes, for our baby. They don't need to know why I am graduating early, I have more than enough credits and I can still talk at graduation."
"But, that's only a week away, why leave now?"
"True, I'll stay"
I turn around and kiss Lucifer before grabbing his hand and leading him to the bedroom. "We have school tomorrow, we need sleep" I say with a sly smile
Lucifer smiles back, and picks me up taking me into the room and tossing me on the bed before he joins me and we both fall asleep forgetting about the day and the letter being written.
