"So what do you want to do?" Ethan asked.
Mark thought for a moment. "Giant Swing. We need to make the most of today and you haven't been on it yet."
Ethan nodded, his eyes sparkling.
"Joey, wanna go kayaking?" Daniel asked. Joey nodded, holding his boyfriend's hand and smiling.
"You guys are going to the giant swing? Me and Phil are going to go to the crate climb. We haven't done that before." Dan said.
"Phil and I." Robert corrected.
Dan rolled his eyes and laughed awkwardly. "I have no idea when it works okay. Leave me alone."
"Let's all go to the tent pitching first." Ethan pointed out. "We all have to do it."
"Yeah, let's do that and not get so ahead of ourselves." Phil laughed.
Mark got up from his seat, Ethan grabbing his hand. Mark noticed a sudden burst of confidence shine in his boyfriend's eyes and a familiar touch of feathers brushed Mark's face. In his head, he heard her whisper.
'You know how to do this Ethan." She encouraged.
'Thanks, Raven." Ethan smiled.
'I intentionally let you hear that Mark." Raven smiled. 'I should go. There are a few more people I want to see.'
'Bye."
"Come on guys." Phil waved.
The group of boys talked as they walked along the familiar path. The trees above were still today as there was no wind. Just the hot sun on Mark's back as he walked. Luckily he was completely used to the heat so it didn't bother him. There were a few other kids around, chatting and laughing.
"It's so hot!" Dan complained. "This is like a heat wave in the UK!"
"You'll be fine, Dan." Robert shrugged. "It's only a little hot. Go to Australia, you'll see what I mean."
"You've been to Australia?!" Joey gasped.
"Nope," Robert stated. "Just wanted to prove a point."
"There are a few Australian kids here you know." Daniel pointed out. "Maybe you could go speak to them about the heat."
Soon they spotted a bunch of kids standing by the trees. A few tents in little bags were piled in a pyramid shape. An instructor was standing next to it and some kids were walking through how to do it with the instructors. Some were just standing around in the trees but Mark couldn't see Tyler so they were fine.
"You know how to do this right?" Mark asked.
"Yeah, I'll teach you if you want," Ethan muttered shyly.
Mark smiled and nodded. Ethan left the group and was passed a tent by the instructor and with a wave, he was back and leading them a little bit away from the other people. Mark saw Phil, Dan and Daniel sit down by a tree.
"We know how to pitch them." Phil smiled.
"I don't!" Joey whined. "I want to though..."
"Well, go and learn. I'll be here." Daniel said with a grin.
As he turned to leave, Mark saw that Dan and Phil were holding hands.
"I ship it." Mark whispered to Ethan.
"You ship what now?" Joey asked.
"Dan and Phil." Mark pointed with a laugh.
"They'd be so cute together." Joey agreed.
"Mark, can you help?" Ethan asked. "Joey, watch and learn."
Mark smiled and headed over to where Ethan was pointing as he got all the things he needed from the tent. He unfolded the tent with Mark's help and held his hands where they needed to go as they pegged the tent down to the floor together.
"You're getting this right?" Ethan asked Joey. Mark looked up. Joey was grinning at them, blushing lightly.
"What?" Mark asked.
"You guys are cute together as well..." Joey said.
Ethan blushed. "You've known for a while now."
"It's still cute." Joey chirped.
As they continued on the tent, some of Mark's hair got caught in his eyes and he blinked, trying to free the bright red hair from his eye socket. (Which by the way hurt like hell)
"I have some hair in my eyes," Mark muttered.
Ethan sighed mock-dramatically and walked over to Mark, who was holding the tent poles in place. Ethan brushed the hair from his eyes and kissed him lightly on the head.
"Better?" He asked.
"Better," Mark replied.
"That's really good guys." An instructor praised. "You can go."
"How about bringing it down?" Ethan asked.
"Some people haven't ever brung a tent down before. I can get them to." The man said. "Go have some fun."
Mark smiled as Ethan and Joey started running towards the others. He joined them and started running too.
"Let's go!" Ethan yelled.
Yeet! I didn't get a chance to write this down yesterday so sorry for the delay! If anyone hasn't watched MatPat's theory on Mark's channel then go watch it. It's so interesting and Mark's writing is about putting pieces together... unlike mine... Anyyyywayyyy I might do Raven's backstory. I feel like she'd have an interesting story to tell so if you ever see that and you're interested in the mysterious Raven then whenever I'm bothered to start writing it, you can read it. If you want to of course. I really hope you enjoyed this chapter though. I know it's slow moving now but it'll get good as I have a good ending planned. Alrighty, that's all I had to say, so love ya'll and peace out!
