Chapter 50

Mark smiled at Ethan as he started plucking the strings of his guitar, sitting close to Ethan. Ethan smiled back and after he had gotten into the tune he started to sing.

I met you in the dark

We drank too much
I held your hair back when you were throwing up

Mark looked up at Ethan and smiled. The smile was full of love. He thought of all the times that he had helped Ethan in these two weeks and how he had slowly fallen for the blue haired boy.

Then you looked over your shoulder
For a minute I was stone cold sober
I pulled you closer to my chest
Then you asked me to stay over
I said "I already told you
I think that you should get some rest."

Mark prepared to start singing as well. He remembered the breakdowns that Ethan had and how he had held Ethan as he cried. He remembered the conversations that they had about Mark's dad and what they loved. Mark closed his eyes and smiled at Ethan as he sung the chorus still playing the stings.

"I'll never let go Ethan." Mark whispered before the next verse started.

"Me neither." Ethan smiled.

Mark took a glance at the crowd. Some were just chatting but some were looking up at them with a look of awe. Some girls looked like they were fangirling.

Fangirling as if Brendon fucking Urie walked onstage. Mark laughed at his thought internally.

Ethan sung that with so much love and emotion in it. Mark grinned as he played.

The two sung the chorus again smiling at each other. Ethan had a light blush on his face as he looked at Mark. Mark knew that he was blushing too as he looked into Ethan's colour changing eyes. When the song ended Mark stood up with Ethan and closed the gap between their lips. They kissed sweetly, wanting to remember this forever.

"I love you Ethan." Mark whispered.

"I love you too Mark." Ethan said.

The two boys headed off stage holding hands. They handed their mics to the next group. As usual there were a few claps and whistles and they both smiled to them all and sat back down with the group.

"I got a video." Robert smiled holding his phone.

"I got a photo of the kiss at the end." Nate smiled.

Ethan leaned into Mark's arms and Mark wrapped his hands around his blue haired boyfriend's stomach. They stayed standing and just remembered the feeling of being loved so much.

"So what's everyone's social media? I wanna stay in touch for when we leave." Robert said.

"I have some paper, everyone pass that around and write down everything and then we'll all get each other's contacts." Nate stated holding out a piece of paper.
