Your POV
After what happened between Levi and I during the interrogation, I was back in my cell. I spent two days in the Scouts' basement before being transferred back to the Military Police's prison. I was tired and cold. I didn't trust the food the MPs would give me, I wouldn't be surprised if James Hannen had me poisoned.
This fucking sucks. This is how I'm gonna go... missing the warm embrace of my friends smiles and laughter, tired and hungry, weak and miserable.
I heard someone enter, I was too tired to even turn to look. I just laid on my side with my back facing the bars and my eyes closed.
Levi POV
She looked so weak and pathetic laying alone chained to the floor. I hated seeing her like this. My eyes took note of six trays of food that remained untouched by the entrance of cell. She hasn't been eating, no wonder she looks so tired. The Military Police made their decision, she was going to executed for the three murders. Erwin decided to just keep her a prisoner of war. Erwin's sentence didn't matter because the MPs were going to kill her.
"You're pretty much done for once I show the courts get a hold of both sentences this evening." I said. (F/n) slowly picked herself up and turned around.
She looked at me with her (e/c) orbs. I threw the letter to her. When she went to pick it up, the chains on that restrained her wrist and legs to the wall jingled with every movement. She picked the letters and read them.
She placed the letter down and slid it back over to me. She turned back around and laid down. It didn't come to as much of surprise for her. When her back was turned to me, I heard a sharp inhale. "Oi, stop that." I said. I didn't have to see her to know she was crying. She turned back to me her tears stained her cheek as she thought of the next step with her. When her eyes were seat on me she cried harder. Her apologetic aura swarm the air. Her hand clenched onto the material over her hurt, seeing me was causing her a lot of pain.
She looked up and locked eyes with me.
Fuck.Seeing her like this was destroying my insides. Seeing (F/n) swing from the gallows isn't something I could watch. I still love her. I kept her locket with me at all times. God, I love her so much. Even just seeing her like this crying over me was eating me. I held onto the clothing over my heart. Her pain was my pain. I can't just stand her and let her die like this. I opened the door to the cell, using the keys the MPs left right next to the cell. (F/n) looked back at me in confusion with tears still in her eyes.
"Get out of here and don't let anyone see, don't show your face anywhere again. Oh, I almost forgot, take this." I threw her locket across the floor to her.
She was more confused than ever, but she wasn't just going to stay to await her death. She got up and she broke the chains off her the wall. I know she could have done that a long time ago, but there was no point in resisting.
"There's two guards out front make sure after I leave make it look like you broke out." I told her while I unlocked the handcuffs around her wrist and then her ankles. She nodded. She took her time to stand back up.
I was going to exit but she stopped at the exit. She held onto my wrist, I turned to face her. She hugged me tightly. She poured out all her love in that single embrace, only for me not to respond to the embrace instead I made her look me in the eye. I need one last good look at her before I walked out of her life. I needed to make myself clear to her. "This is not for you. I'm doing this for me. I can't forgive you, not after this..." Were my last words to her, I stared her right in the eyes and spoke with pure venom.
