Against Niala's original plan, she did have travel to Sina often, purely for business only. Although, it bothered her at first, she was happy she got to spend most of her time back at home helping her community grow.
She got them better tools to work with, she learned strategies to grow better crops and raise animals. Her ultimate goal was to get a school built in this town instead of kids having to walk two towns over to get an education.
"Niala, there's a letter for you!" Mrs. Jenna announced. Niala paused her game of swords with the twins. She walked over and took the letter.
It was from the young noblemen. They requested her presence in Sina. It wasn't something she could say no to. It had the royal government stamp. She walked back outside.
"I'm sorry, guys, but I'm leaving again." Niala said to the twins.
"But you just got back," they whined.
"I know, I know. I'll come back as soon as I can." Niala grabbed both of them and nuzzled them in a giant bear hug.

Niala sat at a table with all four of them. The chubby royal government minister (that's his name) did all of the speaking.
"Do you understand?" He asked her.
"I do, but of all people why James specifically. You can't ask me to marry him." Niala rebutted.
The chubby royal government minister was annoyed but her insubordination. She should be honored to wed someone like James. Soon James would be essential to how the minister got to keep his power in the government. He would would give James anything he pleased they were now a team.
"It's either that or should we share what happened the night of October 16th." The ministered threatened.
Niala inhaled in surprise, "Yes, we do know about you and (L/n). Now I'm a generous man so I'll give you a week to come up with an answer... be married to a noble or news will flood the Walls."
"...Okay, I will marry him." Niala said.
Niala had just agreed to sacrifice her liberty to save her reputation. Even if she never got to go home again, she'll least be able to help her town with money from here. If she went with the other option, she would be home but no one would hire her. She'd be ruined as a doctor because her new reputation as a mistress.
The minister came to Niala and held her face in his hand, taking a good look at her. He smirked delightfully, "Good."
She met with James at his house. He was surprised to see that she was back in Sina again. They sat on his front steps like they did in the past. The only thing different was Niala, she as assimilated to Sina culture— only when she was in Sina.
Her hair was braided at the sides and placed into a neat and proper bun. She dressed in a fancy dress. It was long sleeve and showed her tiny waist and round chest. James preferred the assimilated Niala to her natural self.
"James, I've come to the age to start thinking about having a family and marriage. I'm only going to be young for so long." Niala started. "I've been thinking that you and I could be partners... and love each other unconditionally and someday start a family together. I want to be the wife and the mother to your children, James. I want to be here with you, if you will let me. It may have taken me years to realize but I want to be with you."
"I will make you the happiest bride in all of Sina. I can give you anything and everything you want." He said. He placed his lips on hers, making his affection known. Niala's eyes were open during the kiss. She still hadn't convinced herself that this was it, yes, he would give her anything she wanted but what's the good of having everything with no one.
