Daryl and I walked through the gates of Alexandria. The first time we were back since our capture. Most of the community members were outside. They noticed we came back and came to our aid. Rick came up to us first.
"Are you okay?" He asked more Daryl than me. We both nodded.
"I'm sorry for the pain my dad caused. I plan on going back to him tomorrow, not too stay, but I just need to talk to him." I was looking around for Abraham, but he wasn't to be seen. "My brother is alive, he isn't like my dad. He's scared of him but wouldn't survive alone." I said.
"He can stay here, he'll be safe." Deanna offered. I shook my head.
"No, my dad would seek revenge for that. He couldn't handle the loss of both his children, even if were alive. Where's Abraham? I need to talk to him." I asked the group.
"He went on a run with Glenn. They should be back soon." Rick said.
"I need to talk to you and Michonne." I whispered to Daryl. The two of them were the ones I trusted the most, besides Daryl. They would be able to help me out with Abraham. They need to know the truth and my plan to stop it. The four of us walked into Rick's home and surrounded the kitchen island. I let Daryl explain the story of when they were on their run.
"When Abe, Sasha, and I went on a run, we lied about what we saw. When we came across the Sanctuary, we also came across some of Negan's men and a woman. They threatened us so we took the woman as a hostage, figuring she'd be the weakest link. Abe was holding a knife to her throat. One of the guys got to close and he slit her throat. Then we tried to run but Negan was already there. He saw what happened. I told Abe and Sasha to run and he got me." Daryl explained.
"They killed my mom. Abraham killed my mom. You know he did, my dad almost killed him for it." I clarified. "And I know they didn't know but there's a part of me that can't forgive Abraham. Daryl said that Sasha and him were against all of it and were hesitant, but before they could protest, my mom was already dead." A few tears had escaped my eyes. Daryl noticed and pulled me to him, letting me cry into his shoulder.
"Rowan, we're so sorry. We'll do whatever you need to make things right." Rick offered. He didn't know that to make things right I wanted him dead. I further explained to him the talk I had with Dawson and how we can fix my dad. It's something I needed to do. Daryl offered to come with me but I needed to do this alone. I was okay going there and being safe. My dad's men knew not to do anything to me. They respected me.
