I check my phone to see that it's 7:00 A.M. I go on snapchat and look at everyone's stories. Then I notice that I have 15 texts from the group chat with Tori, Cameron, Greyson, Lauren, and Kendall.
"Why are you guys talking so early?" I ask.
"We're trying to figure out who Cameron likes," Tori replies.
"Ohhh did you figure it out?" I ask, curious to see who Cameron likes.
"No, she won't tell us " Kendall explains.
"Okay, well, can we talk about this at school?" I ask.
"Yeah, and we will talk about this later, Cameron." Tori replies.
'I should probably get ready for school.' I think to myself. I get up, eat a quick breakfast, and get ready for school.
'I wonder who Cameron likes. Is it someone I know? Whatever. I'll find out later anyway.' I get on the bus and sit in an empty seat.~Time skip third period~
"Sarah! Come here!" Cameron whisper-yelled to get my attention. She pulls me aside before we sit in our assigned seats.
"Okay, I'm going to tell you who I like because I feel like you have the right to know, but you can't tell anyone else," Cameron says in a hushed voice.
"Okay, I won't tell anyone. Just tell me," I reply.
"Okay. Okay. I like Josh," She says, blushing a bright red.
"Wait! As in my best friend Josh?" I ask, suprised.
"Y-yeah," She says, sheepishly.
"Okay, we can talk about this more later," I reply, kind of suprised that she even told me who she liked.
"Okay, but remember! You can't tell anyone!" She said, her face redder than before, probably from embarrassment and nervousness.
"I won't," I assure her. We walk to our assigned seats and sit down. The teacher is talking about something, but I'm honestly not paying attenion at all.~Time skip lunch~
I can't stop thinking about what Cameron told me.
'Cameron said she told me because I "have the right to know." Why do I deserve to know out of all of our friends? Is it because Josh is basically my brother?'
"Sarah!" Tori yells as she snaps in my face.
"What!?" I say, not understanding why they were all staring at me.
"Are you okay? You were zoning out," Greyson asks, clearly concerned.
"Yeah. I'm fine. I was just thinking," I reply, looking at Cameron.
"Why are you looking at me?!" Cameron asks, oblivious to the fact that I was thinking about what she had told me.
"No reason," I say to avoid any other questions.~Time skip art class~
I sit down in my seat and take out my phone. I put my earbuds in and play Blame it on the Rain. I hear a bunch of crap being placed on the table beside me and I look toward the noise. That's when I see Ethan. I take out my earbuds, pausing my music.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"I thought I'd sit next to you today," Ethan said with a small smile.
"Because?" I ask, wanting an explanation. I mean, he's nice and all, but he has other friends that he could hang out with.
"I thought I could get to know you better," He says.
"Okay, but Tori's going to be pissed that you stole her seat," I warn him.
"Then let her be pissed. She'll live. Besides, there's a seat on the other side of you," He states.
"I guess that's true," I reply.
Tori comes in the room and looks at me and then Ethan. She doesn't say anything, which is strange. She usually always has something to say, but she just sat down in the seat on the other side of me. I glance over at her and see her staring at her lap.
"Are you okay?" I ask. She doesn't say anything, so I wave my hand in her face and say her name.
"What?!" She snaps. I look at her with a face that must have made her feel guilty in some way because her face immediately softens. "I'm sorry. I'm just a little distracted today," she explains.
"It's okay, but did something happen?" I ask, while picking up my phone, getting ready to play the music again.
"I don't want to talk about it right now," Tori mutters before putting her earbuds in, signaling she was done talking.
'I wonder what's going on with Tori. She's usually really talkative, especially when people piss her off, but she didn't even seem mad about Ethan taking her seat. Whatever. She said she didn't want to talk about it, so I guess I'll just have to find out later.'
