Raindrops on the pavement,
Glistening in the street lights,
The lovely smell of wet earth,
And my sighs and blurring sights. At times like this, so lonely I feel,
Wish there was someone to talk,
Cause though you see me smiling,
You'll never see my faltering walk. And you'll never know that,
What I hide in my mind alone,
I don't know whom to say this,
Cause my heart is already a stone. And as the rains hit my face,
And becomes one with my tears,
I feel myself groping in the dark,
For a voice to ward off my fears.I want one hand to hold me straight,
And not let these thoughts bury me,
Cause I want to sink in my grave,
There's nowhere that I need to be.At times these thoughts overwhelm,
And I feel myself too weak,
Wish I had someone to understand,
Who would just allow me to speak.
