I stepped into the cafeteria with my head held high and my shoulders back. I walked back in and saw Isaac laughing with his friends about what just happened I assume.

Camile winked at me and I chuckled and walked over to Drew and Maya. "Hey you're back!" Maya smiled.

I smiled. "sorry about that." I took a seat at their table. "Isaac is just annoying."

"I can leave him out of the football page?" Drew grinned mischievously.

I shook my head. "he's the star of the team, they'd probably make you put him in anyways."

He nods. "I still want payback."

"Me too." Maya groaned.

I chuckled. "guys it's fine, I'm happy with things."

"Well If I lived with my boyfriend I'd be happy too." Camille smirked.

I laughed. "it's not like that." I shook my head. "anyways my mom is home so it's strictly friendly."

"Boyfriendly." Maya winked.

"You guys are impossible." I shook my head laughing.

"Maybe So, But you love us." Drew grinned.

"Unfortunately ." I teased.

Once I got home I walked in. "I'm home!" I announced.

I looked around walked over to Daren's room. The door was closed so I knocked gently Incase he was asleep. When I got no reply I slowly opened the door and peeked inside.

Daren was sitting on the bed with his earphones in and back to me as he did some stretches.

I smiled and leaned on the doorframe as I watched him. After a few stretches I walked over and smiled. "hey"

He jumped. "Jesus El." He gripped his chest. "way to scare a guy." He chuckled and pulled his earphones out.

"Sorry." I blushed.

He smiled. "it's okay." He hooked his fingers on my jacket and pulled me closer. "I missed you"

"Did you really? I would have thought you were  gonna prefer my mother's company." I giggled placing my hands on his shoulders.

"Oh God she was killer!" He hugged my waist and buried his face on my stomach.

"I'm sure she wasn't that bad." I chuckled rubbing his back.

He hummed. "She was ... Nice?"

I laughed softly. "Yeah, Hispanic moms are a little nosey at times."

"A little?" He looked up at me. "she asked my blood type." He laughed.

I grinned and ran my hand through his hair. "she's thorough."

He smiled and leaned into my touch. "I saved you some pasta."

I grinned. "you saved me food?"

He chuckled and kissed my wrist. "Yes, it's your favorite. I figured you'd want some."

"You figured right!" I kissed his forehead.

"How was school?" He asked standing up and leading me to the kitchen.

"Uh, it was school. Nothing interesting..." I shrugged.

"Is Isaac still messing with you?" He asked as he pulled the pasta from the fridge and started heating it up.

I shrugged. "He's just annoying."

He walked over and stood in front of me like a concerned father. "what did he do?"

"Nothing, it's childish. He just pulled my chair out and I fell." Crossed my arms and looked down.

"Are you okay?" He asked softly, placing his hands on my waist.

"I'm fine. I was just embarrassed." I shrugged.

"I swear once I get back to school you'll be treated like a queen." He smiled softly.

I chuckled. "I don't need to be treated like a queen. I just want to wipe that smirk off his face."

"I'll take care of that too." He smirked.

"Daren." I laughed. "no fights okay?"

"Who said anything about fighting?" He grinned.

"That mischievous grin, I can tell." I wrapped my arms around his neck.

He hummed. "You know me very well."

I blushed and shook my head.

He chuckled and let go, "come on, let's get some food in you, cupcake." He slowly let go and walked off to get my plate.

I smiled to myself and went to help Daren with the food.

"Next week is my Check up, hopefully I'll get clearance to be more active." He Winked.

I laughed. "don't even think about it stud."

He laughed. "I was talking about getting back to my workouts." He flexed his arms. "these muscles didn't just appear magically."

"Ooh impressive." I teased.

"You weren't complaining when you were staring at me shirtless the other day." He smirked.

I blushed. "I did no such thing." I grabbed my fork and started to shove pasta into my mouth.

He laughed. "gorgeous." He pulled his phone out and took a photo before I even processed it.

"Daren no!" I laughed. "delete that please!" I reached for his phone.

"Hm don't think so girlie." He smirked and put his phone away.

"Don't show anyone okay?" I blushed. "I look gross."

"You never look gross." He grinned.

"Yeah, yeah... Whatever you say dork." I rolled my eyes playfully as I continued with my meal.

"I literally don't understand. What is this, sorcery?" Drew groaned throwing himself back on the bed.

"No, it's just Math, now hurry up. I wanna finish so I can watch a few episodes of supernatural." I shoved him.

"Don't shove me." He laughed and shoved me back.

I gasped. "rude!" I threw a pillow at him which he blocked.

He laughed and grabbed my waist, quickly finding my tickle spot. "drew! Oh my gosh nooooo!" I laughed loudly trying to get him away. "please no." I laughed louder.

Drew's laugh got cut short when my bedroom door opened and Daren walked in.

Drew's eyes widened and he pulled away.

I gasped for air and looked over at Daren, "Hey!" I got up and went over to his side giving him a quick hug. "what are you doing up here? I thought we were too lame to hang out with." I smirked.

He rubbed my back softly. "I figured I'd keep an eye on you, for your mom you know..." He looked over at Drew.

Drew smiled sheepishly.

"I'm kidding." Daren grinned. "hey Drew how's it going man?" He walked over to shake his hand.

Drew let out a breath he was holding and shook his hand. "Hey, it's going good. Thanks for asking." He smiled.

Daren grinned. "Your mom wanted me to let you know dinner is ready."

"Oh cool!" I smiled. "let's go I'm starving." I grinned and ran down the stairs.
