I haven't updated in a couple months, I'm sorry! I really am! This chapter is a couple of moths after the last one, where Cameron and Jacey sort of got along, well more than that but you know... So on with the chapter....

***

Cameron acted weird at first. I mean we had kissed, well he had kissed me, I had just stood there honestly, but he was almost pretending it had never happened, except we were friends now, it had confused everyone, including me. Being civil with him felt strange, and my friends didn't take to it immediately, because obviously, he hadn't exactly been very nice to me over the last few years, at all, so when we became all buddy buddy, they were somewhat concerned for my mental well-being, naturally. I'm not gonna lie, when I first read the letter I was suspicious, but he seems to have really changed, I also thought, when I first started reading, that maybe Zack would have come out of hiding, but that had still yet to happen, we had a nickname for him, the ditching bitch, I obviously hadn't told them everything, they'd think I crazy for liking him well after he had started avoiding me, maybe I was crazy.

"Hey, what food you getting?" Cameron bumped my shoulder with his own. "It's pizza day, so of course I'll be having lobster from the secret menu." I rolled my eyes at him. "Alright then sassy, it was only a question. Time of the month?" What a mother hugging jerk! I slapped his arm and gave him a disapproving look, before walking to get my food. With every step, my mind was yelling PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZZA!

"Why are you saying pizza over and over again?" Connor asked appearing by my side. I looked around to realise people we're giving me funny looks, and shrugged off the urge to clap my hands ands say "this was all a social experiment, you have passed, congratulations!" I grabbed a tray and collected the food I wanted to eat, and waited for Connor. "We should all do something later." He told me, already eating, talking with his mouth full, what did that boy's mother teach him? "Yeah, bowling? We haven't done that in while." I suggested, before placing my tray on our usual table next to Jake, he pushed it to the other end of the table, I look at him questioningly, he shrugged meekly. Then another tray was placed where mine had been previously, it was Meghan, of course. Why they didn't just get together when it was so blatantly obvious that they liked each other was beyond me, honestly. I sighed and sat where my tray now was.

"So what are we talking about?" Morgan said as she joined us all, next to Cameron, at first all she would do was yell at him, now they could make small talk and maybe even be classed as acquaintances. "Bowling, you all up for it?" Connor filled them in. "Yeah, as long as you're ready to be crushed!" Cameron replied, enthusiastically. I turned around to look at him quickly, giving him my serious face. "Well there's no way you'll beat me, I'm uncoordinated, clumsy and uncompetitive, how could I ever lose?" Seriously, I've never won a game of bowling in my life. It's ridiculous. "I'll go easy on you." Cameron told me. I scoffed. "Oh thanks."

The rest of school dragged, but I was finally home and was getting ready for bowling. I slid on my skinny jeans, dancing to some music at the same time and making things more difficult for myself really. I threw on a loose fitting, light blue tank top, and some combat boots. I heard the door bell and grabbed my bag and rushed down the stairs. I opened the door to find Joey and Meghan, together, as frickin' always. "Ready?" Joey asked. "Born ready." They sniggered, how rude! it's not my fault, that the flaw in my otherwise, oh so awesome persona, happens to be sport.

So there I was, lining up my shot, or whatever bowlers say, and behind me all I could here was "Jacey don't worry if you mess up!" and "Don't miss Jace!" and "Nice ass!" The last one was from some random guy in the cafe, what a perv. I threw the ball and bam! I missed all the pins. I walked back to take my other shot when Joey motioned for me to go over to him. "What's up?" I asked, eager it get my turn over with. Why did I suggest this again? "Since you're not doing so hot, I thought I'd give you a little push to do better." I raised my eyebrows, intrigued. "I know you think you've gotten away with the whole date bet thing, but you haven't, I've been waiting to enforce it for just a moment like this. If you can beat Cameron, who's smashing us all right now, I won't make you do it, if you don't, you have to go on a date with that guy." he pointed towards the ass comment guy. "The perv? Seriously?" Why, oh why would he do this to me? Ugh, this is the worst. "Oh and you have to get me coffee every morning." I take it back, this is the worst. I grabbed my ball, haha, and put a determined look on my face, let's do this.

***

It's safe to say I lost, a lot, and now I have a date with the pervert, I hate this. He looked so smug when I went over there, I know I said I don't go for assholes, but it wasn't my choice this time, and I really want to slap Joey for this. I mean I also want to slap the perv, who's name is Tom, he goes to a different school, and I really hope my first impression is proved wrong, otherwise I'm in for a whole lot of groping. Okay, definitely gonna slap Joey, maybe with my shoe, would that hurt more?
