The next morning Jaliyah groaned as she banged her fist on the loud alarm clock. Rubbing her poofy eyes she looked at her black iPhone 8+. Seeing as the time was 7:45, she had ample time to get ready. So she had to make it quick. School only started at 8:30

"God I'm tired." She groaned as she slugged herself to the bathroom to get in the shower. She turned the nob in the middle so it would be warm and quickly got in, washing the parts she needed to thrice and hurriedly got out, and wrapped herself in her fibro silk towel. She laid her clothes out on the bed and started getting to herself ready. She started to play 'Do for love' By Tupac since it was her all-time favorite song and everyday morning song. It got her in a good mood when she had rough mornings.

She rapped as she lotioned her body and legs. She took her braids out of the bonnet and let them fall. Since she had already picked out her clothes for the day she slipped on her undergarments and quickly put on her clothes, not wanting to be late to school for the umpteenth time with a month. She grabbed her car keys, phone, and backpack and headed straight to the door, ignoring her grandma yelling at her to eat breakfast. She hopped in her car and pulled out of the driveway and into the main road to school.

Soon she pulled into the student driveway of the school and got greeted by Junie. He gave her a hug and examined her outfit, with a huge smile on his face.

"My taste in clothes rubbed off on you." He said and she playfully rolled her eyes.

"Boy, you just can't help it that ya girl look fresh as fuck." She said popping her imaginary collar. She bent down to fix the laces on her shoes and straightened her self back up. She looked in the reflection of her car to make sure her outfit was fine.

On the other side of the parking lot, Jeongguk laughed as he talked with his hyungs, briefly looking at a female walk by every now and then, getting a few stares of lust here and there. He looked at Jin as he told another dad joke.

"Why did the coffee file a police report?" He asked, trying to contain his laughter. He waited for his dongseangs to answer and when no one did he said the answer for himself. "He got mugged!"

His laughter echoed through the parking lot, and soon Jimin broke from his stank face to laugh then came long the rest of them even Yoongi showed his little cat smile. He'd always hated Jin's terrible dad jokes but it was something about them that made you laugh, maybe it was the windshield wiper laugh that Jin did when he laughed too hard, or maybe it was the way Jimin's eyes closed all the to where he couldn't see when he laughed too hard. Either way, the whole group was either smiling or either in a fit of laughter. Something they frequently did while telling jokes and clowning each other every day.

Jeongguk's laughter stopped as soon as he met eyes with Jaliyah. She gave him a soft smile before turning back to the unknown guy. Jeongguk found himself frowning as he watched his hand slip to her waist as he picked her up, hearing her laughter ring throughout the parking lot. His frowning soon turned into a glare, catching the attention oh his hyungs.

"This is the second time this girl has caught your attention. You're on a roll gukkie." Seokjin taunted. Jeongguk groaned because there was no denying it. He was feeling something for her but his ego and reputation would always get the best of him.

"She keeps playing in my mind. I can't forget her. I don't know what's wrong with me." He whined, his hyungs cooed at the sight. Their little Maknae was changing.

"Uwuuuu, your catching feelings for her." Taehyung cooed. He made kissy faces at the younger causing him to groan. He walked away from the group, ignoring the calls of the elders. As much as he didn't want to admit it, his hyungs were right. Like always.

"Aish I'm going to class"

Jeongguk was mad at himself, he hated the way his body reacted when he would see Jaliyah in the halls, smile right on display. He didn't like what he was feeling when he would see her with the really handsome guy every time of the day. He felt jealousy just thinking about the two being together. Two days...it had only been two damn days and he was so sprung for the girl who already knew he was a player. He finds it interesting that when you like someone, you start to notice everything about them seems more attractive when it seems normal to everyone else. Her smile seems much brighter. The sound of her voice is more soothing. Every little thing about her just reels him in. It's like her imperfections don't seem bad at all. It's funny how your view of someone depends on how you feel about them. He wasn't sure about how she felt about him.

"Girl ain't shit up for debate, Jaebum is the better looking got7 member period," Jaliyah argued. She and Celeste were going back and forth while Junie watched, it wasn't his business so he wasn't about to get into it. He did not have time to get jumped...again.

"Bitch what the fuck ever," Celeste spoke as she waved her hands, signaling to drop the conversation. Jaliyah was soon about to speak again but the godforsaken voice caught her attention, and she didn't like it.

"Heyyyyy Jaliyah, did you miss me?"

She sighed and looked at up Jieun. The girl had a sickening smirk on her face and had her hands on her nonexistent hips as her head was tilted to the side. Everyone and they momma knew Jieun didn't like Jaliyah for no exact reason, she just didn't like her and Jaliyah just didn't give a fuck, because at the end of the day she wasn't whooping her ass about anything.

"Bitch the only time I'll miss you is if I swing and you duck. Don't play with me." Janiyah hissed, not wanting to speak any further. She grabbed her bags and left the lunchroom before she did something she regretted, as soon as she hit the corner she collided with a hard chest making her drop her bags and fall but first on the ground.

"Shit I'm sorry baby girl." The all too familiar voice told her as they helped her up, she dusted off her pants and looked into the eyes of Jeongguk, watching him smile made her suspicious.

"It's fine. I should watch where I'm going." She said and started to leave but he quickly grabbed her arm, gently pulling her back in front of him. She gave him a confused face, about to say something but stopped herself.

"You wanna go out this Friday?" He asked.

"Look, you seem like a really nice guy but your reputation is crazy, and I don't wanna be involved in female drama. I'm Sorry." She apologized, as she did a bee turn and walked through the vacant hallway, leaving Jeongguk in his own thoughts as she watched her walk away. Maybe she was right. But he knew this wasn't the last she would hear from him, he was going to take her out. He was sure of it
