✨it's unexplainable to take interest in someone for so long and don't realize that you love them✨

"Junie ate an hour ago. Baby are you sure you don't want to eat?" Jaliyah grandmother asked as she fanned the smoke that was starting to air out into the room.
Jaliyah took another puff from her blunt and shook her head at her grandma. She had a huge amount of homework to finish for the last couple of days she wasn't at school and she was almost done. She'd eat now but she was too into working to even have an appetite, which was weird for her because she loved to eat.
"Okay well, the food will be in the microwave since you don't want to eat right now. Just make sure you eat something before you go to sleep later." Her grandma instructed and closed the door behind her gently.
Jaliyah places the unfinished blunt in her yellow ashtray and focused her full attention onto her work. Junie was probably in the bathroom in the hall checking himself out in the mirror, something he had always done once the new vanity mirror had been installed in the other bathroom that Jaliyah stored her extra products in. He had been obsessed with it and would always touch it as if it was the most mystical thing he had seen in ages.
"Girl that mirror is heaven," Junie whined as he had finally come from the other bathroom, flopping down on the bed. Jaliyah laughed and shook her head.
"Clearly if you keep going in there to take pictures and admire yourself." She replied, chuckling at him. He rolled his eyes playfully and rolled over to see Jaliyah deep in thought. It was like she was thinking of something, or as if it were bothering her.
"Something's bothering you, babe. What is it?" He asked, sitting up. Jaliyah sighed and stopped doing her homework. She knew she'd have to tell Junie eventually.
"I sorta miss Jeongguk." She admitted, slumping her shoulder softly as she pouted a little. Junie's lips slowly moved into a smirk and stared at his best friend.
"Oh really? Would you like me to call him?" He asked with a playful glint in his eyes. Jaliyah widened her eyes and rapidly shook her head as she watched him pull out his phone slowly to tease her.
"Junie, please don't that. I'm already embarrassed to admit it. Don't make me even more embarrassed." She groaned, throwing her face into her pillow. Junie laughed and put his phone back up.
"Well, at least you admit it. You're ready to admit your feelings too?" Junie asked. Kaliyah pursed her lips and shook her head.
Her admitting her feelings was going to take a little more time...or not.
"Whatever Liyah, I'm going to bed. You'll stop denying your feelings sooner or later." The aforementioned stated, as he rose up from the bed and walked to the door, he gave his best friend a small smile and closed the door behind him.
