(very boring chapter)

"I want some candy Gguk."

Jaliyah was lost. She fell asleep again and somehow woke up the next morning to see Jeongguk and his little brother Tokki sitting on her bed watching Tv. When did her grandma even let him in? Or did Jeongguk go and get him?

"No candy. Now hush before you wake Jaliyah up." She heard him hiss at his little brother. Tokki turned around and saw Jaliyah staring at him, making him gasp and jump on her excitedly.

"Girlfriend you're up!" He yelled happily. Jaliyah weakly laughed and nodded her head. Ggukk frowned and pried his little brother away from his girlfriend causing the little boy to whine and frown sadly.

"I know it's unexpected that my brother came but my parents needed a few hours to talk and my mom asked if he could stay here for a few hours. Your grandma said it was okay as long as you got your rest and didn't get bothered." Jeongguk explained, mindlessly rubbing Jaliyah stomach to ease the pain she was currently receiving.

She nodded her head and laid back down. Jeongguk going down on her didn't help at all but it felt good as hell so she couldn't complain. She was just glad her grandma didn't walk in on the two of them. And she was more than sure she wasn't ready to have sex with him yet so he'd just have to wait until she was.

"Did-did you dye your hair?" Jaliyah asked, leaning forward to stroke his fluffy red tips. He smiled and nodded his head proudly, thankful that his girlfriend finally noticed.

"I did it myself." He exclaimed with a proud smile on his face, making Jaliyah laugh at his silliness.

"You look adorable." She mumbled, before examining her room, cringing in disgust.

It was somewhat of a mess. Discarded clothes scattered all over the floor and shoes all over the place. Jeongguk's clothes on the couch, just laying there as they had been for the past two days. She doesn't even remember the last time he went over his house since he's been telling her about his dad and how he's trying to change for the sake of his wife and family. Jeongguk thinks is complete bullshit but maybe he is trying to change and right his wrongs. Starting with his wife could possibly be the first thing.

The sheets were messy and all over the place. She sighed and mentally noted that she was going to have to clean up as soon as she got up despite her still being a little sick. She also knew she couldn't afford to miss school anymore when it was October and all her classes had been doing was prepare for midterms in December.

"I need to fix my room, I hate how it looks right now," Jaliyah mumbled, getting up from the bed to get started on cleaning. It would do her some good since all she had been doing was sleep and lay in the bed all day for the sake of her worried boyfriend.

"What are you doing? Get back in bed!" Jeongguk commanded, bouncing Tokki on his lap. Jaliyah dismissed him with a wave of her hand.

She padded around the room, gathering her and Jeongguk's clothes to wash. She grabbed her dirty clothes hamper and put them in there and put the hamper outside of her room door before gesturing Jeongguk and his little brother to get up so she could make the bed, doing it in a hurry so they could sit back down. Jeongguk eventually gave up trying to get her back and into bed and decided to help her out some. He helped wiper her counters, vacuumed the carpeted floor and also cleaned her mirror.

Jaliyah walked out of the room, grabbing the hamper and jogging downstairs into the laundry room to wash their clothes. She separated the colors from the whites to wash, starting with the white since it wasn't that much of them. She closed the door to the washing machine and put a small amount of detergent in the little slot at the top before closing that too and walking out of the laundry room, running into her grandma.

"Why are you up?" Her grandma asked, placing both her hands on her hips in a scolding way. Jaliyah rolled her eyes playfully before walking about the worried woman. It seems like everyone is more worried than they should be when she was only a tad bit sick. They're treating her like she has ebola or something.

"Grams, I've been in bed for too long. I had to do something so I decided to clean my room instead." She clarified.

Her grandma shook her head and grabbed the small bag of dog food for Bear, who had been sick the past few days so he's been too lazy to leave his room and move around like he's been doing. Sadly, he doesn't want anyone but grandma Davis near him which hurt Jaliyah a bit since he was her dog but she dismissed the sadness after she realized she was sick as hell too.

She walked back upstairs to see Jeongguk on his phone, pacing around the room as Tokkie looked at him innocently. Jaliyah tiptoed over to the six-year-old and sat down beside him.

"What's wrong with your brother bubs?" She whispered in his ear, leaning down towards his face to hear him clearly. Tokkie fumbled with his fingers before sighing.

"Daddy called Ggukkie to talk to him since he's been a bad man. He wants to say sorry to Ggukkie but Ggukkie keeps saying no. He still sad about what happened to mommy," Tokkie explained, slumping his small body into Jaliyah, who wrapped her arms around him to comfort him. They two continued to look at Jeongguk as he went back and forth with his dad.

"Don't you have any patience?-Of course you're my father but that doesn't give you any fucking excuse for what you did the past few years!- Okay, I get that mom forgave you but I'm not mom am I?- Bye, don't call my phone right now." Jeongguk hung up the phone and threw it on the nearby couch before sighing and slouching his body into the dresser. Jaliyah sighed and shook her head.

Jeongguk's told Jaliyah a few times about how badly his father used to treat his mother over the past few years. Abusing her, having her sleep in the guest room so he can fuck other women, just treat her like complete and utter shit. There was some extent to what Jaliyah didn't know she felt like Jeongguk didn't want to share it yet which was completely fine. Everyone had secrets they don't want to share her. Hopefully, Jeongguk sits down with his father to talk. He doesn't have to forgive him right away but having a proper talk is a start.
