"That's really all you watch? Basketball?"
Jaliyah sat on the light blue seat of one of the cafeteria tables as she ate her left overs from yesterdays dinner her grandma made. She slowly stopped eating and looked at Celeste with an annoyed glare. She had started to get irritated with her the past few days. Celeste would constantly cancel on her without giving her a reason and it was making her irritated. Something in her was beginning to think that what Junie said was right. Maybe she was plotting against her but she would never know for sure.
"Touch ya nose, and mind ya business." She sassed, not bothering to look her in the face but continued to eat her food happily and slipped her head phones back in. She watched as Celeste rolled her in her peripheral vision and it took everything in her not to slap the girl so she had decided to just remain quiet. It went unnoticed by Junie, who rolled his sleeves up and pushed his chestnut hair back with a scowl on his face; for a guy who was gay he was really handsome.
"Roll your eyes at my best friend again and you won't have any to roll." He warned as he pointed his long, baby blue painted finger at Celeste who just brushed him off with a simple wave of her hand.
"She's my bestfriend too." She retorted back at him. He leaned back a little and crossed his arms with a sickening smirk on his face.
"You sure about that?" He whispered/asked harshly as he tried not to get Jaliyah's attention, who was too into the video on her phone to notice anything between the other too.
Meanwhile, Jeongguk stood from afar as he watched Jaliyah mindless watch her phone with a small smile on her face. He wondered what was making her smile like that and was only hoping that she didn't smile because of another guy. It was a stretch but he needed to ask her something and another dude in her life would ruin it. The past few days they haven't really said anything to each other unless was in class. They had up to two weeks to finish their project and their not at their goal yet. The two decided they wanted to read each other's representation on Love, which was beginning to be a little hard because for the both of them it wasn't as easy to open up to one anywhere but Jeongguk was slowly getting used to trying to, he just wishes he could say the same for Jaliyah. She won't tell him anything else about her past relationships that he doesn't already know. It was nerve wrecking but he understood because he was in her place before he had met her.
"Stalking again ggukie? Tsk." A deep voice from behind him said lowly, he turned around to see Taehyung looking at him with an amused expression across his face. The elder crossed his arms and looked at his younger friend in wonder and amazement. This was new for the maknae. He was surprised, really surprised.
