Jeongguk stood flabbergasted at Junie's words. He felt like a fish out of water. It was almost as if he had wasted his time, he dressed up nice for her, hell even broke the law trying to get to her home as quick as possible. Only for her to say she isn't going? He felt anger rise within him as he had thought about it. He was NOT going to fuck this up.
"You serious right now?" He asked in disbelief, Junie sighed and nodded his head as he had put all his weight on the door. He felt like his bestfriend was being a little irrational since it wasn't an actual date, but she was used to being precise about everything. If you told her about an activity and a time she was going to be there at that time or she expect you to be there, but in this case Jeongguk didn't keep up with the time.
"I wish I was kidding hoegguk." He replied. Jungkook didn't utter another word as he pushed passed Junie and marched upstairs to her room, the closest one on the end with her name on it was clearly hers so he stomped in there, watching as she sat on the bed with clothes but no socks on while playing on her phone. He gaped at how beautiful she looked, a simple black, red and white champion outfit with her silky hair down and flowing, he could see distinct dots of her freckles on her nose and cheeks from where he was standing. She was even more beautiful just looking at something to simple it could make him melt in a heartbeat. He cleared his throat break himself of his thoughts and to get her attention. She looked up, alerted, on how he had gotten in.
"How you get in here?" She asked as she had sat up, alarmed. Jungkook shrugged his shoulders and walked to her desk, leaning on it but not to much to the point where he could break it. He crossed his arms and gave her a soft smile. He looked around her room, enjoying the smell of Shea butter and perfume. Her room was in the style of a tumblr girls room, lights on the ceiling hanging above her bed. Bed-like couch with pastel blue walls. Most things were blue in her room so he assumed that was her favorite color.
"I know I'm late but that doesn't give you a reason to cancel on me when I've almost been through hell and back to get here." He exclaimed. Jaliyah rolled her eyes and got back on her phone, ignoring his previous statement. Angered, he walked up to her and snatched the phone from her, slipping it into his pocket.
"What the hell you do that for? Gimme my shit back!" She demanded as she finally stood up, but he wasn't letting up. He shook his head stubbornly, point his nose up in the air like a child. "You're not getting it until you come with me and until our outing is over."
'He better be glad grandma took bear to the vet, otherwise I'd make him chew his ass off.' She thought.
"Fine! Let's just go!" She yelled, throwing her hands up in the air. She slipped on her shoes, grabbed the stuff she meeded and pushed him out of the room, slamming the door behind her. He smiled in victory and practically skipped down the stairs, standing in front of a smiling Junie, who seemed all to happy with what just happened.
"Have you fun you two! Don't do anything I wouldn't do! And use protection!" Junie jokes as he waved at the pair waking to the car. They quickly got in and drove off with a rapid speed, wanting to get away from him as soon as possible. He chuckled and walked back into Jaliyah's house. Sighing, he plopped on the couch and stared at the blank flat screen tv.
"You're so blind liyah."

Meanwhile, Jeongguk and Jaliyah sat in an awkward silence as he drove down the road. The only sound could heard was the one from the radio of a soft tune playing. Jaliyah nodded her head and tapped her fingers on her jean covered thighs as she looked outside, watching the cars drive by.
"So where we going?" She asked, breaking the silence, trying to create a more comfortable vibe. Jeongguk smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
"An arcade, with a shit ton of food, games and a huge basketball court." He smirked, he wanted to see just how good she was in basketball, he saw only a little of what she can do and in his eyes she was a fairly decent player but he didn't think she could beat him...if only he knew.
"You really wanna get your ankles broken don't you?" She teased as she looked at him with a smirk, though them playing basketball wasn't an actual game, Jaliyah put in work on the court and didn't play about it. Loosing wasn't an option in her mind.
"Oh please, you don't want these problems babygirl." He replied back, making her blush at the small nickname but she quickly threw it in the back of her head and cleared her throat. But he caught it.
Soon enough the two arrived at their destination. Jaliyah gaped at the size of the building as she got out of the car. The exterior look like it was owned by a really famous millionaire.
"Well shit." She mumbled as they walked to the front desk. Jeongguk pulled out his wallet and started to speak with the counter lady who was a little too flirty for her liking, hell who was she kidding, they weren't together but she wanted to see how strong his willpower to dodge a girl was. The woman looked to be about in her mid thirties, her makeup sat horribly on her face and her boobs were showing a little too much to be professional.
"We'd like to rent a basketball, an all day pass into the arcade, and we'd like to pay for the all you can eat buffet." Jungkook stated as he pulled out $50 from his pocket. He gave it to the unknown lady and watched as she touched his hand, licking her lips seductively. He cringed and waited for the lady to give him his change. The look on his face went unnoticed by Jaliyah, who tried to hide her laugh with a smile.
"Here is your change and my number, call me sometime." She winked and proceeded to hand him the small, light pink paper with red writing on it, but before she could hand it to him Jaliyah snatched it from her grasp and ripped the paper into small pieces in front of the lady's face. The woman stood there shocked, as Jaliyah grabbed Jeongguk's hand with one hand and the basketball with the other.
"Don't get beat up old lady, he's taken." She smiled and walked away from the desk. Jeongguk smirked and leaned to her ear as the pair walked into the basketball court.
"So I'm taken huh?"
"Shut up. I was just tryna help your ass out, that woman was finna rape you."
