Jaliyah hated being sick. It made her delayed for the things she had to get done. Luckily today was a Saturday, which meant no school.
As she was getting out of bed she felt as if her body were on fire and her throat was sore and scratchy. She immediately knew her grandmother had gotten her sick. She had come home from her game, and gave her grandma a hug and the old woman sneezed... right in her face.
Of course, Jeongguk being Jeongguk, stayed the night again because he didn't want to go home. Her grandmother didn't mind, telling them not to do anything stupid because she knows how teenagers are. She groggily sat up and checked the time. 7:15. Sighing, Jaliyah threw the covers off of her and proceeded to get out of bed until she felt a heavyweight on her waist pulling her back. Glancing down, she pulled the covers back and gasped, pulling them back up.
Jeongguk didn't have a shirt on.
"Where are you going, baby?" He rasped, with his eyes still closed, pulling her even closer, letting his back muscles flex that could drive any female crazy, mainly Jaliyah, and she was going insane in her head right now. His back tattoos were prominently showing, and she didn't realize how beautiful they were until she got a closer look.
"I-I d-don't feel good. I think I'm sick g-gukkie." She whispered, unsure of her voice right now. Jeongguk was doing things to her at a time where she didn't need anything done to her. Her stomach felt like it was in her ass and she couldn't handle it.
"I think I'm getting the flu." She whispered, stuffing her face into her pillow even more as the pain started to get strong. Soon she was hit with a sudden wave of nausea, causing her to jump up and run to the toilet, puking everything she ate from the previous night.
Worried, Jeongguk sped by her side, tying her curls into a high bun so it would be out of her face. He examined her face, as she leaned back into her tub, too weak to get up. He put the back of his hand on her forehead and gasped at how hot she was. How could she have gotten sick so quickly?
Beads of sweat were adorning her face as she kept breathing at a rapid pace, her chest heaving up and down quickly. Jeongguk immediately frowned at the state his girlfriend was seen in.
"I'm hot man." She whined, pulling her shirt over her head to take it off. Jeongguk widened his eyes and quickly stopped her.
"Woah there cowgirl! What are you doing!?" He yelled, grabbing her hands from taking her clothes off further. He hastily looked away at the sight of his girlfriend in a sheer white bra, her nipples showing prominently.
"I-I'm hot dude." She repeated, throwing up even more. Jeongguk sighed, grabbing a nearby towel and wiping her face, from the excess puke around her mouth.
He hoisted her up by her waist and grabbed her toothbrush along with the toothpaste and started to brush her teeth so her breath wouldn't stink. Jaliyah continued to whine childishly as she fumbled over her feet, her body aching worse than before.
"Let's go sweet cheeks." He mumbled, picking her up and carrying her to the bed.
With all the willpower he had, Jeongguk pulled off her sweats, looking away as he grabbed more clothes for her to get into and changed into them so she can be more comfortable and clean. He grabbed her legs and tucked her into bed, pulling the covers to her chest before kissing her forehead.
He left out of her room and ran downstairs to get her stuff to make her feel better. Maybe hot tea, and a heat compress pack would do for right now, he was unsure so he knew calling one of his hyungs would help. If it got worse he knew she would have to go to the doctor.
He took his phone from his pocket and called Jin, the older man answering on the third ring.
"What is it brat?"
"First off don't call me that. Second, Jaliyah has the flu and I'm not sure what to do." He sighed, looking through cabinets for tea. After searching the third cabinet, he found a box of peppermint tea and assumed that it should help ease her throat a little.
Getting that ready, he listened to his hyung.
"Well. She needs to stay home for a few days to get plenty of rest. Drink a lot of fluids. If she had aches just give her some ibuprofen. If she has a humidifier use that to try to ease her throat so she can cough. Keep her in bed at all times unless she has to take a shower of has to use the restroom, and make sure there's a little trash can by her bed so she can throw up. You could also give her an antiviral drug like Amantadine, to shorten the flu."
Jeongguk nodded at his hyungs words, getting the stuff together as Jin was speaking. He soon had everything set out on a tray and was ready to take it to Jaliyah, two bottles of water, two ibuprofen pills, a bottle of Amantadine, a heat pack compress, the peppermint tea, and of course himself. He told Jin goodbye and hung up before carrying the trey upstairs and into Jaliyah's room where she was knocked out cold with the covers at the edge of the bed.
He put the tray down on the nightstand and shook her away, watching as she groaned and fluttered her eyes open. He smiled down at her as she looked at him with a tired face. His mind then shifted her grandma because she was usually in the kitchen cooking breakfast but she was sick today so maybe shes sleeping in more.
"I have some stuff to make you feel a little better. So I'm gonna set you up a little." He stated, climbing in bed to get behind her so her back would be against his chest. He knew she didn't have the strength to sit up on her own right now. He used his right hand to run small circles onto her stomach as he used the left to get the Ibuprofen. He handed it to her and she weakly opened her mouth and swallowed the brown/reddish pills before Jeongguk put a bottle of water towards her face and told her to drink. She drank it slowly, water spilling on her chest here and there.
He continued to rub on her stomach to ease the pain a little as he grabbed the bottle of the liquid stuff, and made sure she drank that too along with some of the tea before he set it back down and told her to go to sleep. He knew she was tired so he'd just have to give her the other stuff when she wakes up.
Jaliyah weakly leaned forward, grabbed the covers, and leaned back, pulling it to her neck. She nuzzled into Jeongguk before whispering a small thank you and falling right off to sleep. Jeongguk smiled and gave her a kiss on her head before falling asleep himself.
