✨the best love is the one you never expected ✨
*same day, sometime later*(sorry it's so short)
"I have to get home to my little brother. What time is it?" Jeongguk asked Jaliyah whole turning his head towards her. The two were laying down in her bed side by side with space still between them. He felt the urge to grab her and pull her into his arms but he knew she wanted to take things slowly for the sake of the two.
"It's 2:45 am." She exclaimed nonchalantly, the aforementioned widened his eyes and shot up from the bed. He frantically looked around for his keys, finding them on the counter. He grabbed them and turned to go towards the window so he can leave but Jaliyah grabbed his arm, making him turn around.
"Can you stay? for a little while?" She asked, meekly. Jeongguk smiled and hesitantly nodded his head. If his father was going to be mad then so be it.
He placed his keys back down on the dresser and plopped down on the bed, taking his shoes off. Jaliyah smiled and sat next to him, grasping by her hand in his. He turned his head to give her a small peck on the forehead, making her smile at the warm gesture. He knew his father was going to kill him the second he got home and the thought of it made him a little scared but being this close to Jaliyah was the second best thing that has ever happened to him, the first being him running into her.
In his head, some part of Jeongguk kept telling him it was all good to be true. Jeongguk was a complete fuck boy before he had run into Jaliyah and it was like something has clicked in his head. He felt disgusted to even be in the presence of another female after a while. He finally admitted that he had fallen badly for her and that wasn't something he ever said. He never even felt this way when he was Jieun. He just liked the feeling of being with someone who listened to his every command and gave him sex when he wanted. Now he knew he wasn't going to be getting any actions except kissing for a while now and he was completely fine with that.
"When we went out the other day, you never told me about yourself because we were interrupted," Jeongguk stated.
Jaliyah hummed and placed her head on his shoulder, running her index finger up and down his tattoo-covered arm.
"What do you wanna know?"
"Anything."
Jaliyah thought for a second, "My middle name is Aubrey. I absolutely hate ketchup. Basketball is my life. I'm 17. I love the color yellow. My dream is to go to college on a basketball scholarship and possibly get drafted into professional basketball. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia but I and my grandma moved after my fathers' death. That's really all I can think of right now."
Jeongguk nodded his head and pushed himself back onto the bed making sure his back hit the headboard. Jaliyah soon followed after him, pulling down her tight shorts that were riding up her thigh. Jeongguk cleared his throat to distract him from looking down at her smooth, chocolate legs.
"How come you didn't want to be with me at first?" Jeongguk asked after a moment of silence. He nervously rubbed his clothed thigh and look at Jaliyah, who just stared blankly at the boring tv show on her Tv screen.
"Come on Jeongguk. Let's not be dumb here. Look at who you are. You're a player. How could you possibly pin after one girl? A black one at that! I bet this is some sort of bet to you isn't it?" She ranted, Jeongguk widened his eyes at her sudden outburst but soon turned his shock into sadness.
"Y'know one encounter with someone can change a person's life altogether! I wouldn't have said all that shit if I was going to just play you!" He retorted, veins popping up on his forehead. Jaliyah pressed her lips together and looked the other way. She didn't mean to hit a nerve, but any female would want to know why Bangtan Central High's most notorious playboy all of a sudden became a one-woman man. It sounded too absurd.
"First of all, calm down. Second of all, put yourself in my shoes and just think about how I feel. Look me in my face and tell me that if you were me you wouldn't have the slightest doubt about dating a guy who used to be a player." Jaliyah explained, sitting up straight and turning his way. Jeongguk sighed and looked down, running his fingers over his tattoos. She was right.
"I'm sorry. I really don't want you to have any doubts about us. If I have to pose you on my social media's to prove it then I will." He expressed but Jaliyah didn't believe him.
"Do it." She challenged.
That was all Jeongguk heard before he pulled her into a soft kiss and snapping a picture of it. He broke the kiss and proceeded to post her on every single one of his social media accounts. After he was done, he locked his phone, facing it upwards and pulled her in for another kiss.
"You *kiss* make *kiss* me *kiss* so *kiss* happy *kiss*." He whined, continuing to kiss her. She laughed and pushed him off.
"We haven't even been together a whole day and your already this whipped?" She tainted playfully.
"Oh whatever but I think I should go. It's really late." Jeongguk groaned as she started to get up from the bed but Jaliyah pulled him back.
"Jeongguk it's too late. It's almost four am Just crash here for the night." She offered.
Jeongguk smirked, of course, he was kidding but he liked to play with her.
"Can't get enough of me can you?" He asked playfully. She rolled her eyes and threw him a pillow and a blanket.
"Sleep on the couch over there." She instructed before pulling her covers back and getting into bed.
'Why didn't I notice she had an entire couch in her room?' He thought to himself as she placed the pillow on the couch and laid down.
"Goodnight baby."
"Go to sleep."
