Chapter 12

"What do you say y/n?"

Y/n pov

My cheeks were warm and I could still feel Emil's lips on mine. Would this be ok? Could I really be with someone I liked?

"Emil..."

I quickly made a list of pros and cons in my head.

Cons
David could go after Emil and I.
Teasing if Lukas finds out.
Matthias thoughts???

Pros
Emil
Kisses from Emil
Hugs from Emil
Dates with Emil
Time with Emil
Emil in general

It took me only 2 second to make the list and clearly the pros outweighed the cons.

"Yes Emil" I finally got out before kissing him again. My hand placed gently on his cheek.

I could feel him tense a bit but kissed me back. His lips danced with mine for a few seconds before we both pulled back.

Emil just looked at me and if my face couldn't get any more flustered, it just did. "You got something on your face" I said breaking the short silence.

He pulled away and sat down and so did I. "I-I do!? Wh-what is it?" He said awkwardly and I couldn't help but giggle.

"A blush" I said teasingly and he rolled his eyes at me. "I'm not the only one y/n" he said sipping his drink.

I smiled and sipped mine as well.

Emil and I decided to walk to his house since we had made plans with Lukas and Matthias. We were doing a study group since exams were coming up.

"Wait Emil, you mean to tell me that Lukas is always trying to make you call him 'big brother'? Wow Lukas is so weird but can't say I'm shocked"

"Yeah and then for shits and giggles Matthias decides to jump in. It never ends well for me because both end up teasing me about it." Emil said annoyed.

"Why don't you say it when we get back and see Lukas' reaction. I would love to see his stoic face make a different face."

"Y/n you already do. You some fucking how make him smile and laugh and I have no idea how!?" I laughed because he looked so cute.

I stopped in my tracks and then quickly grabbed his hand. Emil turned back to look at me and I quickly pecked his cheek earning a slight blush. "Wh-What was that for?"

I just smiled and continued to walk. I was happy to be with him. "Just because"

Once we got to Emil's house, we let go of our hands to avoid having the Norge and Dane from teasing us.

"Lukas! We got your coffee!" Emil yelled when we entered the house. "Don't worry Matty I got you your orange juice as well!" I yelled as well.

Silence.

"Hello? Lukas? Matthias?" Where were they? "Mrs. Steilsson? Mr. Bondevik?" I yelled out at their parents.

"At this time my parents are still at work. I am confused as to why my brother and Matthias aren't here."

We closed the door behind us setting down their drinks on the counter of the kitchen. Where could they have gone? "Maybe they're in Lukas' room? Or yours?" I asked curiously already walking to the stairs.

After reaching the door to  Lukas' room. I head a thump. Curiously, I knocked but when I got no answer I turned the doorknob. It's not locked?

This caused me to stop from opening the door. Lukas never left his room unlocked, why now? I dared not try to open up the door and quickly ran down the stairs back to Emil.

"Call Lukas-" I said urgently. "Y/n why? Was he not in his room?" "Emil just do it" he looked at me weirdly but quickly took his phone out and dialed the number. It rung and we listened quietly. There was no ringing in the house.

The call didn't go through but right after we got a text from him.

Bróðir: can't talk right now. At the library with Matthias.

"E-Emil..." my throat felt dry and my heart beat faster. "What's wrong y/n?" Emil said and I looked up at him.
