I was walking down the hall when the familiar scent of a certain someone came to greet my senses.

"You know if you actually shower you wouldn't need to wear so much of that cologne Dave. How many bottles have you gone through this month, 3?" I asked giggling feeling a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Very funny babe but I shower every day, sometimes even twice" he said smirking against my hair giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"So I was thinking, this Halloween we dress up as Sherlock Holmes and John Watson" I said turning around to face my boyfriend wrapping my arms loosely around his neck, or tried due to his tall height.

"I thought we were just going to chill at your place watching Beetlejuice and Pet Semetary?" He asked confused playing with a lose strand of my hair.

"Well Lukas invited me to his Halloween party, and I was thinking we could go together?" I felt myself question him nervously. He made me feel butterflies and I would get a little nervous to ask him things. I guess one never gets over the butterflies.

"Lukas invited YOU. He wants nothing to do with me y/n. You know he has a thing for you right? I see how he looks at you, y/n. I love you and I think it's best you cut him from your life. For our relationship, you do love me right? I wouldn't ask you to do this if I wasn't willing to do the same for you."

He caressed my cheek and I could feel my heart get heavy. "L-Let's just stay in this year. I can order us a pizza and we can just watch movies" I said trying to change the subject.

Lukas is my best friend, I could never do that to him. I can't tell him David asked me to do this. He'll probably think he's a bad influence and David isn't. Is he?

That was my first feeling of doubt against that relationship. The butterflies weren't from love they were worry, anxiety, fear.
