Chapter 22

Y/n pov

It had been a while since David lost his temper, he was currently sitting in front of me.

Reading a book.

Fucking psycho is sitting down, calmly. Not seeming to be bothered that he KIDNAPPED ME.

"What do you plan on doing David? You just brought me here and trying to force me to be with you."

He closed his book and set it down on the ground next to him, then looked up at me. "Well simple y/n, I have some special kinds of friends helping me, if you refuse then we'll just get rid of Emil ourselves. I figured your friends already found out you're missing and are probably on their way to help you. So when they get here, it's lights out."

With a sinister smirk David pulled out a small knife making me roll my eyes. "Funny for you to assume it'll be an upclose fight." I said sarcastically.

"Stupid of you to assume this is all I have" with that he got up and walked closer to me.

"You still don't see how dangerous I can be my sweet." He said with a smirk.

"Stay away from her!"

My head turned to the back of the library and am met with Emil standing bravely.

Oh Emil, I like you very much but you're going to get crushed like a bug.

"David let her go." Was all he said. "Emil run before he hurts you!" I yelled

David quickly covered my mouth before I could speak anymore.

"Don't touch her!"

Emil's pov

Some time before

We looked at Matthias with unease, the plan was risky but quite frankly I was willing to do anything to save y/n.

"I'll do it" and with that the plan was a go.

Time skip to our current situation and I was looking straight ahead at David who was right in front of y/n. I was relieved to see her completely unharmed but that doesn't guarantee he's unarmed.

"You guys are awfully annoying. What are you going to do Emil? Going to beg for her back? How pathetic."

"David if you let her go we'll forget this ever happened. I just want y/n back safely" looking past David's shoulder and over to y/n, I almost sogh in relief when i see that Lukas already qas untying her.

"Your way of negotiating is so boring, why would I go through all this trouble and surrender her to you? This isn't how it works Emil-"

I flinch when we both hear the sound of a chair move and my breath hitches when David sees Lukas and y/n running.

David quickly pulls out a gun and aims for Lukas but before I can block his shit he fired and with that a heavy Matthias fell from the air vent that was on top of David.

Matthias landed on top and another shot was heard. My eyes widen when I see a pool of blood on the floor and Matthias slowly got off of David.

He slowly looked down and put his hand to where a red stain was forming on his white shirt. I look over to where Lukas and y/n were. Lukas was holding onto his leg and y/n was desperately trying to stop the bleeding.

The next thing I know, I was punching David mercilessly causing him to let go of the gun. I only stopped when hands began to pull me away from him.

In my fit of rage I hadn't noticed the police came.

It all appeared to be moving slowly. When I was being dragged out tlof the area and saw Matthias  in a pool of his own blood trying not to cry. Tears began to well up in my eyes. This couldn't be happening.

"Matthias!" I yelled and tried to fight the people dragging me out and tried to get away to go to Matthias.

Y/n pov

When they picked up Lukas and began to take him to the paramedics, I looked around looking for Emil and Matthias. When I saw Emil I almost called out his name until I saw him screaming and thrashing.

When I looked at what he was screaming at, my breathing stopped and I quickly got up and ran to Matthias.

"Matt! Oh my god!" The look on his face showed his pain and I knew it was severe. "Matthias I'm so sorry!" I began to cry seeing all the blood he was losing.

"Y-y/n. I'm so glad to have met you. Before I g-go, I really really liked you. I-I still do. More than a friend and I completely understand if you couldn't return th-those feelings. What I am grateful for, i-is that you were my friend. That I got to be close to you and L-Lukas, and E-Emil."

"N-No Matthias, don't talk like you're leaving forever! Someone please help! You're going to survive, I know you will. You have to stay strong." Tears were welling up in my eyes as people began to drag Matthias away.

Come on Matt. This isn't how you're story is suppose to go.

A/N: heeeey a new chapter! And the first chapter of this year! Happy new years everyone! Sorry for the late updates but I had a bunch of big things going on. Like marching the Rose Parade! Well I finally am getting a break and time to write so hopefully more chapters to write!
