"How can you not know where is Victor? You were home when he left!", Scarlett's mother said.

"He didn't tell me where he went! And I don't really care actually.''

"I can't believe you don't care! He is your brother!"

"Mum, I'm fucking eating here, will you stop yelling at me?", Scarlett said pissed of and her mother left the kitchen. She heard the front door opening and she assumed that her mother left. Her phone buzzed and it was a message from Lorrie.

"Did he come?"

"No hon, sry :("

Her mobile buzzed again, but this time it was a phone call from Andrew. She paused before she answered.  She was kind of afraid to answer after she saw the dead body in Andrew's box. She didn't know if he was the killer but keeping a dead body in your old apartment was creepy enough for her to not answer it. She put it in her pocket and continued eating her cereal. It had finally stopped, but after a while it started buzzing again from him. She went upstairs and dressed up. She was going to 'Java Lava', the café that Theodore had taken a job recently, with Lorrie.

She wore a simple black shirt  and long jeans, because the weather had changed a little and she no longer wore short pants. After she fed the drunk pigeon, she took her keys and left. She passed from Lorrie's house and they walked together there.

On their way to the café, Lorrie was not talking at all. Scarlett was trying to make some jokes and keep the conversation going, but her best friend looked miserable. She was scruffy and could barely stand on her feet.

"You don't even have a reason to be like that!", Scarlett said annoyed.

"That's because you didn't hear what he said to me downstairs.", Lorrie answered.

"For once again he proved to you how much of an asshole he is! Just go with it."

"It's not that simple Scar. He is the father of my child."

"Okay Lorrie. Cry him a river."

They went inside and they saw Theodore serving a client. When he turned his back he saw his two friends and winked at them. Then he went into the kitchen and Scarlett got a message from him that his boss was watching him and he had to act professionally. Then he came out of the kitchen and took their order. Scarlett was holding herself not to laugh.

Theodore was done by three o'clock and Scarlett and Lorrie waited for him and they went in a park together. Theodore asked if they could tell Alfie to join them and Scarlett looked at him confused.

"Since when are you two friends?", she asked.

"He looks like a good guy and he also looks friendless."

"Okay, okay. I'll call him."

A couple of minutes later, Alfie got out of a bus and walked towards them. He had a big smile on his face and he was holding his small laptop again. He never went anywhere without it.

"Hey guys! What's up?"

"Hey Alfie. Sit!", Theodore said. "I'm hungry, has any of you eaten yet?", he asked.

"No. Do you wanna go grab something to eat?", Lorrie said. "Because I'm getting hungry too."

"So, where do you want to go?", Scarlett asked.

"I know this pizza place in the area that....", Theodore tried to say but Scarlett interrupted him.

"Don't even think about it."
