"Andrew?'', Scarlett said with a smile and hugged him. "What are doing here?", she asked still shocked.
"Do you have an extra bed..?", he asked. he looked a bit nervous.
"What?.. Andrew what is going on?"
"Umm.. Nothing, I just need a place to stay for tonight."
Scarlett looked at her watch. it was almost four o'clock. "Look Andrew, I wish I could, but I barely even know you, and I can't put a stranger in my house."
"Come on, Scarlett. I have nowhere else to go and it's really late to go to somewhere else. I don't even have money to check in to a hotel. Please."
"I'm really sorry Andrew."
"It's.. It's okay.. Bye Scarlett."
As she closed the door, Scarlett thought that she did the right thing. She wanted to ask for his phone number, but he wouldn't have given it to her. She went upstairs and slept.
The next day while sitting at the school cafeteria, Scarlett didn't tell anyone about what had happened last night, because nobody knew about his existence. She told Lorrie about Aaron giving her his phone number. Peter was sitting with them and heard the conversation.
"You should call him.", Lorry said to her friend.
"But I don't know him!"
"Lorrie is right. You should call him. Afterall he is waiting and he wants you to help him with Maths. It won't take long.", Peter said.
Theo wasn't there. He had practise with the basketball team. He wanted to quit so badly, but his coach didn't want him to, because he was one of the best players in the team. Theo was complaining that the team never won and he once heard from a teammate that the principal told his coach that next year there would be no basketball team if they didn't win at least five matches.
"Okay I will call him.", Scarlett said and took out from her bag the piece of paper that Aaron's number was written on. Then she dialed his number and called him. "Hello Aaron, it's Scarlett from last night, remember me?"
"Yes, hi! How are you?"
''I'm fine. I was wondering if you could come now to tell me what you wanted."
"Sure! Tell me where you are and I'll be right there in a minute."
"We are at the cafeteria, by the huge window with the blue curtain."
"Okay, I'll be there in a minute."
"Okay, bye."
"See? It wasn't that hard.", Peter said. "So what are your plans for tonight?"
"Umm.. We didn't make any yet.", Lorrie said.
"Wanna hang out?"
"The three of us?", Scarlett asked.
"Ofcourse not! Theo too, and if you want to tell Victor or Aaron.", Peter said excited. His eyes were sparkling.
That moment Aaron walked in the cafeteria looking for them. Scarlett saw him and waved. He ran towards their table and smiled at her.
"Hi, I'm Aaron."
"This is Lorrie and Peter."
"Nice to meet you.", they both said.
"So Scarly, I want you to explain something to me.", Aaron said as he sat near her and opened his book.
"Oh God, they are talking about Maths. So.. Where do you wanna go tonight?", Lorrie asked Peter.
