Chapter 20: The arrivals (The end)

I usually don't make a comment before the chapter, but if I don't explain something, you will get confused and you won't understand anything. There is a scene where there are three rooms with three patients in. (I won't spoil anything ;p) Think of it as a scene where after a line they change into another room. The changes of the rooms will be made by typing this: (~). You will get confused, because I want you to! ;p You won't know in which room the doctors say their lines. Please be understanding, I have a twisted mind :D

Lorrie's mother parked her car outside the hospital and ran inside the E.R.. Several minutes later, two male nurses dressed in light blue came with a wheelchair and helped Lorrie sit on it.

"Don't worry little girl. Everything is going to be fine.", one of the male nurses said and rolled her inside.

~Scarlett arrival.

Scarlett ran in the hospital and walked towards the reception. She was in a mess, because it was after midnight, and she hadn't gotten any sleep at all. Her hair was wrapped in a messy ponytail, and her eyes were red.

"Excuse me? I'm looking for Lorrie Johnson. She must have came five minutes ago to give birth."

"Scarlett!", Lorrie's mother ran towards Scarlett and hugged her. "The time has came!"

"Yes, you were prepared for this. How is Lorrie? Where is Mr. Johnson?", Scarlett asked and sat on a chair near her.

"She looked fine. The nurses told me to stay out for some time, while they prepare her. Her father stayed at home to bring a suitcase with Lorrie's things. A girl named Julie is helping him."

"She visited Lorrie while we weren't home. She is the one who called us."

~Theodore's arrival.

"Did I get here on time? Is it twins?", Theodore said while running in the hospital with a sweaty T-shirt.

"What are you talking about Theo?", Scarlett said. "She is still in. They won't let us go in yet."

"Well, is she giving birth?"

"Not yet, you little dummy!", Mrs Johnson said and kissed him on the forehead. "Do you want some water?"

"Yes please!"

~~Alfie's arrival:

Alfie walked in the hospital holding a bag from a store with baby clothes. He walked up to the reception, and before he asked anything, the nurse pointed her finger to his friends' direction.

"Heyy, we are having a baby, yay!", Alfie said and sat on an empty chair.

"Where did you find an open store at midnight?", Theodore asked confused.

"I didn't buy them now, you idiot! I had bought them in case an emergency like this happened.", Alfie said. "So... What are you guys up to this summer?"

"We don't know yet. We were thinking about Europe, but with Lorrie giving birth, we have no idea.", Scarlett said.

~Mr Johnson's and Julies arrival:

"Thank God, you are here!", Lorrie's mother said, while her husband and Julie walked in.

"Everything alright?"

"Yes, we are waiting for them to call us.", Scarlett said. "Julie, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."
