schizophrenia.
schiz▪o▪phre▪ni▪a
A severe mental disorder where the diagnosed person will hear and see things that are not real, and react.
-
"Schizophrenia," Susan says carefully, but not beating around the bush.
She watches me as I take this in.
-
Luke walks me back to my room and is quiet. I know Susan informed him of my condition, but he hasn't said anything.
He keeps his eyes straight forward and walks slightly in front of me.
The door to the room is bright red, Alice's choice.
Unlocking the door Luke speaks to me but his eyes avoid me, "If you need me just use the intercom and I'll be here. Um, otherwise I'll get you tomorrow morning for group and then you have a meeting with Susan in the afternoon."
I can only nod as I step into the room and the door shuts after a moment.
I take a deep breath as I feel my body go cold.
"It's okay...."
I turn around but no one else is in the room.
No.
I am not going to let them
call me crazy.
I sit down on my bed and it squeals as I get under the covers.
I already took off Ashton's clothes and folded them neatly on the chair by the door.
The whispers don't stop.
"Just let go..."
"It's easiest...."
I squeeze my eyes shut and ball my hands up into my ears. Curling into a ball I try to sleep.
-
it's a small update, but it's an update.
the next chapter there will be a lot of ashton and confrontations.
thank you
