tears

I step under the water of the shower and let myself go. There is nothing to think about. I just want to relax.

After I shampoo and start to condition the lights flicker. Ignoring this I shut my eyes and focus on the pounding water.

"Josephina...."

I jump and look around the room. No one is in here.

I feel my bottom lip begin to tremble as it whispers again and the lights flicker. I go to grab for my clothes and towel but they're gone.

"No," I whimper and try to shut off the water which is now scalding hot.

My body burns as I twist the knob but it doesn't budge.

The lights flicker once again and then it shuts off.

That's when I hear laughter.

I slide down the wall and push my hands to my ears.

But the laughter gets louder and I hear the sound of feet splashing in the water.

Trembling I open my eyes and try to feel around but the water is getting hotter and my skin feels as though it is melting.

But I can take the pain.

I've always been able to.

I feel small hands wrap around my ankle and I scream.

"NO!"

I hear knocking on the door and scream again as the hand wraps around tighter digging nails into my skin.

Then the laughter starts up again and the door opens and the water is still burning my skin.

But then large arms wrap around me and is whispering, "Shh, Josie, I'm here."

They are lifting me up and holding me to their chest and I here them suck in a breath as the water hits them.

I curl up into the muscular chest and whisper, "Please get me out of here."

The lights switch in as I am being carried out and I open my eyes to see Luke, Calum, Zayn, and Harry in the hall. My heart stops as I realize I'm naked and shivering. But what really gets me is I thought it was Luke carrying me out. Peeking up I see blonde curls being held back by a bandana and a blush creeps up to my cheeks.

Ashton.

"Oy," Ashton sneers at the boys, "Get out of here. If I need someone I'll send for it."

Luke steps forward and says, "Here, give her to me and I'll take care of it."

Ashton takes a deep breathe and shakes his head as we pass the lads and I see them staring and Ashton holds me closer covering my body as much as he can.

He sets me down on my bed and I'm still trembling.

Leaning toward me he swipes his thumb under my eyes and I see he is wiping away the tears I didn't realize I was shedding.

He paces around the room and walls out of the room .

I whimper.

I don't want to be alone.

-

But no longer than 5 minutes the door opens and I look up to see Ashton.

Except he is holding a bag.

He walks up to the bed and sits down on the end.

"Here," he says handing me the bag, "There is something's in there that you can change into if you'd like. I imagine that those scrubs aren't very nice to wear."

I look up and take the bag.

Inside there are a pair of black sweats and a navy blue sweater and a pair of black wool socks.

"A-are these yours," I ask with a shaky voice.

"Yeah," he says and stands up.

I realize I'm still naked and slip the sweats on as he looks out the window of the door.

Then the sweater and socks.

I cough and he turns around.

He chuckles and I feel a blush heat up, "What?"

"Nothing, they're just huge on you."

I smile and thank him.

He turns to leave and I feel panicked, "Wait."

He stops with his hand on the handle and turns his head.

"Will you stay with me?"
