DAY 1
Monday
School's back gates
9:20am
We loaded all our stuff onto the coaches, then climbed on. We had allocated coaches so we got on Coach 2 and settled ourselves in the middle of the bus. I sat next to Chris, with EB and Alex to our left, who had Cassie and Matilda behind them. We had a four and a half hour journey ahead of us, so I leant against my seat and listened to the silence... NOT! The coach burst into noise, Chris whacked on her mp3 so I stole an ear bud because I was a prick and forgot my iPod, I had my earbuds and charger, not much use on their own though, Alex and EB were debating who was fitter out of Prince Harry and some band member from You Me At 6, while Matilda tried to guess Cassie’s pass code for her phone.I turned to peer out the window but instead, came face to face with a packet of galaxy counters.
"Don’t mind if I do," I said reaching my hand into the bag and pulling out a handful. "So did you find any waterproof underwear then?" I asked casually.
"No, thank God!" said Chris "she wouldn’t give up though; in the end I just gave up and sat in the car before she realised I wasn’t with her! Did you bring your spare tent?"
"As if! I gave it to Chloe and James and they disappeared to put it up in their room! I have no intentions on getting it back!" I replied laughing.
"But what if out tent gets blown away?!" she asked in mock horror.
"I think we'll survive" I said.
1 hour later
Complete pandemonium at the back of the bus. Two guys were standing up singing Give Me Everything by Neyo and Pitbull, what’s worse is that the two guys (Perry and Josh) REALLY can’t sing but think they can. Chris had stolen back her earbud so she had both of them and turned up the volume to avoid ‘other noises’. I now had to sit there doing nothing and trying not to listen to the.... I can’t think of a bad enough word, so I'll settle for.... atrocious noise coming from the back of the coach.
Half an hour later
Mr. Hooper decided he'd had enough of the caterwauling and went to the back to shut them up. He then confiscated Perry's iPhone! Wahoo! No more 'singing'! I poked Chris out of her doze and signalled for her to take out her buds. She shook her head, jerked a thumb at the back and grimaced. I laughed and mouthed "Its fine, they’ve stopped" she looked at me suspiciously, then, carefully pulled out a bud.
"See, I’m not lying!" I said smiling
"Can’t be too careful." she replied
"Offended! You don’t trust me? If anything, I shouldn’t trust you after Saturday! FYI, my drink stained my top so I would appreciate a refund!" I joked, sticking out my hand waiting for her to hand over the money.
"Don’t be silly, I know it didn’t."
"How!?" I asked defiantly.
"You’re wearing it!" she laughed "I hope you’ve washed it though!"
I looked down and sure enough, I was wearing it.
"Of course I did! What do you take me for? Some kind of pleb? Don’t answer that!" I added quickly.
"You know you’re a pleb, so what would be the point in telling you?" Chris smirked. Turning off her mp3, she pulled out a bag of skittles. Ripping the top off, she settled in her seat and took a handful. I can’t resist skittles, they are too scrumptious! I rested my head just below her shoulder and gave her my puppy eyes and stuck out my bottom lip.

HumorHi there! My name’s Jessie. I'm more a tomboy than a girly-girly. I have 2 younger siblings and my parents, well to describe them in two words, I would say ‘embarrassing’ and ‘un-cool’, but I bet everyone says that about their parents! All my friend...
