I've tried not to cry all day, but we sit here and think back to that hot summer day you were born, I can't help but to think how I always wanted you to stay my little baby 😪. I swear it seems like just yesterday you were this 6lb 5.4oz baby that I held in my arms and instantly fell in love. Now you're 16, and I'm wishing time would slow down. Before we know it, you will be 18 and headed off to college, and begin to live life on your terms. There are many things that we hope you take from us and look at them as tools that will make you a great woman one day. For starters, I pray that over these last 16-years, you feel that we have been able to guide you in a way that will make you feel stronger about the decisions you will soon face on your own, although we will always have your back.....ALWAYS! I also pray that the values we've instilled in you along the way will take you far and that you continue to build upon them. Remember that you will always be best at being YOU. Never try to be like someone else, and the way we know you, you won't anyway. You are very much unique and although we may be tough on you about some things that you feel make you that "unique" individual, remember, all we want is the best for you. I could write a book if you let me 😬. Niy, we love you beyond measure, always and forever! ❤️
