////Chapter 9////

The lights were dim and the curtains were closed, one could mistake that the room was abandoned. Mina wasn't such a morning person but for some odd reason she woke up earlier than usual. As in 5:00 am in the morning.

"Should I call Sana." Mina groaned, leaning back on her chair. All the lights in her house were off and it was still a little dark outside so there wasn't a lot of light entering. The only source was her small lamp.

She thought of leaving her house but it was a weekend, Mina wasn't really fond of the idea of going outside early in the morning. Specially because of the cold wind that she will encounter.

"Momo's probably asleep." Mina sighed, throwing her phone across her bed. She sat in front of her desk, staring at the open textbook resting on the table. She would glance if, hoping to suddenly get motivation to read but nothing came.

As Mina stood up, hoping to leave the room to get a drink of water, her phone had lit up. The light instantly catching the penguins attention, wondering who it could be. Mina arched an eyebrow, grabbing her phone from the bed and staring at it.

Unknown:
Hey penguin, I'm outside.

Mina almost dropped her phone. It was clearly rare to get a text message like that and it was even worst that she didn't know this person. The dancer quietly approached her balcony, the morning wind hitting her bare legs. She subtly peeled over the metal bar and she saw a figure looking up at her.

Before she can run inside, the figure raised their hand, the hood on their face falling behind their head. "Good morning!"

Mina's eye twitched in both concern and shock, "Why are you-"

"I actually wasn't expecting you to be awake but looks like luck is on my side!" The girl laughed, her voice raising and Mina was afraid they'll be scolded for screaming 5 in the morning.

"H-Hang on, I'll go down there." Mina answered, leaving the balcony, grabbing her jacket and keys. She rushed to the lobby, deciding whether or not she should be angry. As she closed the lobby door behind her, the younger girl waved confidently, "What are you doing here?"

"I forgot to give you this paper so I thought I needed to give it back."

Mina raised an eyebrow, the cold air making her shiver, "5 in the morning? Aren't you tired? And you aren't even wearing a jacket. Also how did you get my number? Chaeyoung-"

Chaeyoung shrugged, passing the paper to Mina with a sly smile, "Sana gave it to me. Don't worry it's not like I'll text you a lot." The tiger laughed, her arms slightly shaking.

Mina sighed, planning to talk with Sana soon, "You're cold. Why did you even come here so early in the morning? Specially since it's cold." The penguin spoke, and Chaeyoung couldn't help but feel annoyed by the sudden scold.

"I'm fine."

"Your shaking."

Chaeyoung grunted, "It doesn't matter. Anyways, I usually go out on morning jogs and since I'll pass by your condo, I decided to give it to you."

Mina was hesitant but she did feel bad considering Chaeyoung looked as if she was about to freeze. Most likely because she was standing in one place, with a hesitant tone, Mina spoke up, though it wasn't audible.

Chaeyoung tilted her head a bit, "What'd you say?"

"Come with me to my house." Mina repeated to which Chaeyoung responsed with a dumbfounded expression. The penguin nervously rubbed her forearm, afraid that Chaeyoung will start to tease her so early in th morning.
