[Christmas Special]

Hello! So before this chapter starts, I apologize for putting this out so late. I was actually planning to add Christmas to the story but I just had a lot of stuff to deal with that I couldn't write it in. So this will be a one-shot instead, of course it's in the same universe  as the book it just won't be connected with the story.
Anyways that all I wanted to say! Thank you!

"Christmas huh."

"You don't look festive." Yeri chirped, sighing as her teasing expression transitioned to a sympathetic face. The girl frowned, sitting herself down in front of the cub. "As usual." She ended.

"It's Christmas. What am I suppose to do? Be a Santa Claus and go around giving gifts to everyone I know?" Chaeyoung deadpanned, leaning back on her chair. Yeri rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. The cub may say that but Chaeyoung did give her a present which makes Chaeyoung a big hypocrit.

"What are you, the grinch?" Yeri teased.

"Sure." Chaeyoung sighed.

"How about..." Yeri flicked Chaeyoung's knee, getting her attention, "Give Mina a present?" The latter stayed quiet, her arms draped over her face as she seemed to be hiding something. Until, Yeri realized it.

"Oh my god!" Yeri laughed, "You bought her a present?"

"No." Chaeyoung mumbled. Looking away and avoiding Yeri's gaze as much as possible. The gaze that'll only prove the latter right if she met eyes.

"Awwww! You're so adorable!" Yeri gushed, her fingers pinching Chaeyoung's cheeks, the latter trying to slap her hands away. Yeri laughed, finding it different considering Chaeyoung never really gave out presents. (Aside from Nayeon and Jeongyeon, But she'll never admit that.)

"It's just a present ok? Why are you freaking out." Chaeyoung muttered, her cheeks tainted with a faded red probably due to Yeri embarrassing her. The latter smirked, leaning back on her chair.

"Because you're Son Chaeyoung. The most prideful person I know." Yeri smiled, her voice filled with a bit of a teasing tone. "So what did you get her?"

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, trying her best to disregard Yeri who was non-stop nagging her about Mina's present. The former stood up, pushing away Yeri who only laughed at how embarrassed the cub looked. "I'm need to go!" Chaeyoung groaned, trying her best to avoid her best friend.

"Ok!" Yeri called, a snicker following, "Don't be a grinch and actually give the present to Mina ok?!"

"You got Chaeyoung camera stuff?" Sana gawked at the 2 small boxes laid out in front of her. She knew Mina was part of a family that had a good amount of wealth hidden in their wallets but if Sana could guess how much the total was it would be close to at least $100.

"None of those were expensive-" Mina huffed, grabbing the last object, wrapping it in some festive paper, "-They were both on sale so I figured it would be something Chaeyoung liked."

Sana smirked, teasingly poking Mina, "Aww you actually thought of the cub." The latter rolled her eyes though she did try her best to hide the incoming rush of heat approaching her cheeks.

"Whatever." Mina shrugged, avoiding Sana's eyes as much as possible. The latter let it slide considering she knew Mina cared for Chaeyoung even if she didn't show it as often. "By the way, for New Years Eve, where are we spending it?"

Sana sighed, leaning back on her couch, "Maybe at the restaurant? They said they had some good food there and some good specials so I guess it'll be great to eat there first and then go home."
