Abby jumps out from her bedroom in a light blue flowy tank and jeans.

I put down the dishes and turn around

She twirls around smiling at her feet. William is coming over for the first time. Better be nice.

Referencing my my 'actual' messy bun and stained shirt from my shift at the hair salon.
"Shut up. I'm tired." I joke
The couch beckons and I surrender. Landing face first in a fluffy cushion.
Abby pulls my arm.
"Come on. He's going to be here soon. You promised.."
The doorbell rings.
I want to forget every memory about him. But I can't stop thinking about this moment..
Through the hole stands a young guy with soft blond hair, jeans and white button down shirt.
After we do the greetings, Abby goes to "grab a jacket" giving me some time with him.
"So you're the sister?" He says sitting across from me as I hand him a glass of water.
"Yes, but her guardian first" I sit crossing my legs.
Wow. I'm on the ball.
"She's lucky to have you"
"Why? Should I be worried?"

"So where are you guys going?"
"Somewhere public. Multiple exits. Don't worry"

"Oh?" I smile
"She was just shorter than than I imagined.."
Abby walks up behind him
"And he was fatter" Kissing him on the cheek with a grin.
"Haha What? You don't like my six pack of jello?" He grabs at his non existent tummy fat.
They're perfect for each other..
We did get along after that. William constantly sent me selfies and added me to their group chats. It definitely helped my nerves. and get to know him better.. not enough apparently..
