Today is the day I am going to surprise Ashton. It was a lot of planning and trying to convince the management to let me stay for the weekend but I did it.
They're in New York right now and I'm in the uber towards the airport. I only have a backpack with me and I am excited. I am texting with Ashton right now.
He doesn't have a clue I'm coming.
I got to the airport and slowly made my way towards the gate. I only had to wait half an hour and soon I was in the plane.
I slept through the whole flight so I won't be tired for the concert. The management got me a backstage pass so I will be able to get to them.
I don't know if I'm going to surprise him before or after the show.
I think after the show.
Because then I can enjoy the show and be there without them knowing it.
But I am going backstage earlier and just talk to the management because they wanted me to come earlier to talk to me and give me the 'rules' I have to follow for being there on the weekend. I know that they will be weird or stupid but whatever. As long as I can be with Ashton.
So half an hour before the show I walked towards the entrance they told me to go to. I am wearing Ashton's 5sos hoodie and made sure no one saw me. I got inside and went backstage. On my pass is my name and I'm a 'VIP'. I honestly feel so special.
I haven't been posting much my Snapchat today. When I did I posted something that wasn't giving away what I was doing. Nothing interesting.
After the conversation with the management I get into the concert itself. I am near a door and security guards. The rules the management gave me are simple:
No trouble
Tell when you're going somewhere
Don't do things you normally wouldn't do
The concert was so much fun. I was chilling with some fans and just had a good time. I walk towards the door again and the security guard let me in. I have a smile on my face and make my way towards the room the guys should be.
When I heard Luke yelling something my heart starts to beat a little faster. I'm so close to them.
"Luke! You're sweaty! Stop trying to hug me!" I hear Calum say and I am trying not to laugh.
"I am not trying to hug you! I just want to use you as a human towel!"
"No you don't. Everyone knows that."
I walk closer to the door and hesitate for a second. I don't know why, but I just got nervous.
When I'm about to open the door, the door opens. My eyes meet Ashton's hazel eyes and he freezes for a second. When he realizes it is me he just hugs me.
"Hey," I say softly and with a smile on my face.
"Hey," he says in the same way. "What are you doing here?"
I change my position so I can look at him, "surprising you."
