The bell rang at 2:57 and I dashed down before my mom could get to the door. I swung the door open to see my best friends. I hugged Tae and Jimin and looked back to see my mom smile at me.
"Have fun ok?"
"Thanks mom!"
I dragged he boys out of the house and grinned at them once the door was closed.
"I've been waiting for hours!"
"Yeah we know," Tae responded with a smirk.
We started walking and Jimin started a conversation.
"So. How're you feeling?"
"I'm fine. My mom's not upset so at least she smiled when saying bye. That's one good thing."
Taehyung looked at me curiously.
"One good thing? That means there's more right?"
"Yeah. I'm here with you guys!"
Tae stopped walking and giggled. He then, took me and squished me in a tight hug.
"Tae! I can't breath!"
"Sorry!"
He released me and kept walking. Jimin chuckled.
"What are you laughing about?"
"Nothing. Anyway, what would you think if Tae decided to have a lip piercing?"
"I'd think he's badass, but please don't..."
"Why?"
"Because it's like a five-year-old having tattoos all over their body. That's why."
Jimin burst out laughing as Tae glared at us.
"Not true! And I didn't want a permanent one! Just a small, fake one."
"What about your dad? Where was he?" At this point, Jimin was asking the most random things under the sun.
I giggled before replying, "His job requires him to work at odd hours so he's almost never home. One day he'll be home for an hour and the next day he'll be with us the entire day. Sometimes we'll go days without seeing him. But it's funny because the one day you guys came over my dad was surprisingly there."
"That's cool! He seemed really nice!" Taehyung beamed.
"Yeah...he's also the one who didn't want me to meet with guys so let's just say my friendship with you was in a dangerous place."
"He's ok with us now, right?"
"Yeah he loves you guys!"
Jimin tapped my shoulder.
"We're here!"
We walked in and started with a small store. I spotted a few shirts with cute sayings and jeans of different colors. I found a bright neon orange one and pointed it out.
"Who in the world would wear something like this?!"
The other two laughed when they saw my disgusted face. I just wasn't too fond of neon colors and the orange didn't really help.
We wandered the mall a bit more and the boys bought some clothes. Tae showed me a cute bomber jacket that was army green. I cringed at it before responding.
"It looks cute, but I just can't stand army green!"
"Oh c'mon! It's cute isn't it?"
"Yeah. I guess it is."
He ended up buying it, satisfied with my reaction. Jimin grabbed me next and showed me a snapback. He put it on and posed while trying his best not to laugh.
"You're turning red!"
I fell to the ground laughing as he pulled off the hat. He ran his hands through his black hair before smirking at me.
"So? How is it? Should I get it?"
"Yeah. It's perfect!"
I caught a glance of a pouty Taehyung.
"I said that jacket looks good on you didn't I! Go buy it!"
I pushed the boys toward the cashier before they could say anymore. After they paid, we ended up going to the food court.
"C'mon! Faster! Faster! I'm hungry!"
"Hold on."
Taehyung and I stopped in place and turned to Jimin.
"Who's paying?"
"Not me!" I screamed.
"I asked and it's definitely not me!" Jimin protested.
Taehyung looked dumbfounded.
"So I'm going to the food court to pay for my own food?"
"Food doesn't grow on trees, idiot."
"Jiminie! Please! You're the oldest! You should pay!"
"Um. You don't call me hyung so I technically don't count," he smirked.
"Jiminie pabo!"
I looked back and forth before speaking up.
"Guys. Just split the price."
The boys looked at me like I grew two heads.
"Genius! You're a genius!"
I facepalmed before dragging them to the food court. Taehyung may not be hungry anymore, but I was starving nonetheless. We sat down as Tae skipped over to Panda Express.
"Panda Express? Really?" I asked Jimin.
I had nothing against it, but for some reason watching him skip over reminded me of a child.
"At least it's not hamburgers and sprite..."
I looked at Jimin who's face showed absolute terror.
"What? Why?"
"Hobi hyung...He's crazy I tell you!"
I laughed, but then a group caught my attention. They were my friends. I saw Nami, Ji Kwon, Min Jae, and surprisingly Ki Yong. I hissed before looking away.
"What's the matter?" Jimin asked, eyes filled with concern.
I motioned over to where the girls were taking a seat.
"Yeah I don't feel left out. Why would I? Of course. Don't be stupid y/n," I tried so hard to convince myself that everything was ok.
"Y/n? You ok? We can go somewhere else you know. We don't have to eat here. I'll go grab Tae."
He started to get up, but before he could I reached for his sleeve. There was no way I was gonna stay there alone. It hurt so bad to know my friends were doing something that I had no idea about and the fact that they hadn't even told me about it. Jimin, seeing my weak state sat back down. He rubbed circles on the back of my hand as we waited for Taehyung in silence. Of course the alien boy wouldn't have known any of that and he banged his hands on the table, making big of us jolt up.
"Tae! Was that necessary!" Jimin yelled.
"Oh sorry. What happened? You guys ok?"
He looked towards the direction I was clearly avoiding and his eyes widened in shock.
"Yikes," he mumbled.
"Let's go."
Jimin grabbed my hand along with Tae and walked out of the food court.
"So. Wanna go to my place or yours?"
"I think I'll just go home. Sorry."
Jimin, understanding how I felt, nodded before taking a bag from Taehyung.
"Take the spring rolls. They're vegetarian."
I gave them a weak smile before walking towards my house.
"Wait! Y/n! We'll drop you off!"
The boys ran over to me and linked their arms with mine. They smiled at me before dragging me along. I didn't resist because even though I thought I'd feel like shit for a while, being with them was soothing.
