I was staying after school to finish an assignment I had gotten in the last class. I was putting the finishing touches along with my "friends" who had paired up with each other. I had gone solo. As I added the final details to my project, I saw something that made me scream and fall out of my seat. My friends came over to me along with Ki Yong, who Nami had paired up with. Min Jae kneeled down and looked into my eyes.

"What's wrong? What happened?"

Acting like a friend now...

"B-b-b..."

Nami put her hand on my shoulder.

"What did you see? Are you ok?"

"B-bug. It w-was an a-a-ant," my voice barely a whisper at this point.

I heard a burst of laughter and saw Ki Yong clutching her stomach.

"Pff. Seriously? An ant? You're scared of an ant!"

I looked down, ashamed. I never told anyone because half the time the ants are too small to actually see, but when I do, I freak out. Like this. I have a pretty severe case of myrmecophobia. Not many have heard of it so witnessing someone with that strange phobia is pretty awkward. Not only is it ants, but other bugs make me nervous due to my phobia.

I looked up again to see Ji Kwon stifling her laughter and Min Jae and Nami with a hint of a smile on their faces. I struggled to get up because of how hard I fell and quickly grabbed my project. Lucky enough I had finished the main portion. I didn't even look for the ant—obviously. I just threw it with the other projects my classmates had made and ran out, grabbing my bag.

Once I left the building, I realized I had forgotten my phone. I walked towards the classroom and heard my friends. They were pretty loud, but I'm sure they never expected me to show up again.

"Oh my god. I feel bad, but that was still so funny!" Ji Kwon asked the others.

"I guess, but sometimes she overreacts a bit too much!" Min Jae added.

"She's either really hyper and overly excited or like that!" Nami said.

"I mean, I don't really like her. I don't understand why you guys hang out with her in the first place," this time it was none other than Ki Yong.

I walked a bit back and made some noises to let them hear that I was coming in. I heard one of them shout.

"Shit! She's coming! We should get going too."

When I walked in, I saw all of them grabbing their bags.

"N-Nami?"

She looked at me.

"My phone's over there. Could you...could you see if there're any bugs on it?"

I heard her sigh before grabbing it and putting it in my hands.

"Thank you," I whispered before leaving.

"She can't even properly thank us!" Ki Yong exclaimed.

With that, I quickened my pace. I left the building and walked towards the street, ignoring two figures who were talking in the corner. As I walked past them, I heard them stop their conversation.

'Good job y/n. You disturbed someone from their conversation!'

I mumbled a quick apology as I ran towards the sidewalk. I heard someone call me, but I was too engrossed in my thoughts to know who it was. As I was running I felt a tingling sensation across the back of my hand. I looked at towards it and screamed as I saw the worst thing on the world. I flung my hand around trying to throw it off without actually touching it. I started to cry. I couldn't help it, I was in a state of panic. Once I was sure the ant was off, I leaned against a stone wall that bordered the streets. I slid down to my butt and pulled in my knees, sobbing. I felt something brush against my head and whimpered in fear. I was so weak.

"Y/n? You ok?"

I flinched, but then relaxed once I knew the source of the voice. I looked up to see none other than Min Yoongi.

"Yoongi?" I asked—more like whimpered.

I looked past him and saw Taehyung and Jimin.

"What're you guys doing here?"

Taehyung walked past the guys and sat beside me. He embraced me in a hug as I started sobbing again.

"I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry!"

"What are you sorry about?"

"I don't know! I just am!"

My mind wasn't functioning. All I knew is that I messed up. Big time.

"So why are you guys here again?"

I managed to get that much out without hiccuping.

"We were waiting for you since you were almost done with the project. We saw you come out, but you didn't exactly reply..."

That made me remember. I knew who had called me. I knew exactly what they had said; or at least most of it. I knew they had ran after me, but I ignored them. I ignored the ones who cared. But when did Yoongi come?

"When did Yoongi get here?"

"Oh, hyung was coming from the other direction and ran over when he saw you."

I smiled at him as a thanks. Tae held my face and wiped my tears before smiling back. I felt something tickle my arm again and looked to see what was tickling me.

"OH MY GOD!"

I flew back and shook my arm throwing it off. I shook in terror as the little devil made its way further from us.

"Y/n! Y/n! It's ok! It's gone!"

Tae squeezed me tighter as Jimin and Suga looked at me in worry.

"Y/n? Are you—do you have a phobia or something?" Jimin asked.

"M-Myrmecophobia."

"Myr-what?" Suga asked.

"Myrmecophobia. Fear of ants. I think I know how it started, but it's still pretty embarrassing..."

"Y/n! Are you sure you're ok? Your phobia seems serious. You're shaking!"

Jimin whacked Taehyung on the head.

"Obviously she's gonna shake! She's probably terrified! Wait, does that mean when you were shaking your arm while running, there was an ant on it?"

I shuddered at the thought.

"Y-Yeah. Sorry."

"You need to stop apologizing."

"S-"

"Y/n!"

All three boys yelled at me in unison. It was funny enough to make me smile a little.

"That's my girl!" Tae grinned.

"How about you come over to our place today?" Jimin asked.

I nodded. Suga helped me up, and Tae didn't make it any better by not letting go, but we were somehow able to walk to Tae's and Jimin's place with me in Tae's arms.
