♥ Chapter Five ♥

Jordan arrived at Abby's as promised at seven bottle of wine in hand

Abby smiled as she stepped aside to let Jordan pass .

Jordan softly kissed her cheek as he passed her and walked into her living room

Abby had candles lit as well as music playing softly throughout the living room

"I hope you like veggie lasagna " Abby murmured as she took the bottle from Jordan

"Smells great "Jordan remarked as she poured the wine he'd brought into two goblets.

The smell of roses assaulted Jordan's senses as he took the goblet from Abby .

Jordan didn't know whether to compliment her or keep it to himself

Abby leaned on the counter as she sipped her wine watching Jordan

The oven timer interrupted her perusal of Jordan

Once she got the oven opened Jordan had mitts on his hand "Let me help " he offered quietly

As Jordan stood with the pan Abby could smell his cologne it was clean ,fresh not over powering it was mixed with something she assumed was his natural scent and it did things to her she couldn't quite comprehend nor did she like .

Inhaling sharply Abby cleared her throat as she pointed to the trivet in the center of the table where Jordan should put the lasagna

They chatted while they ate as Jordan talked about the current project his company was working on when he ventured into more personal territory

Abby dodged several questions as they chatted while they ate.

Discovering they were born the same day hours apart in the same hospital surprised Abby

Jon had never mentioned his brother's birthday in all the times they'd been together to celebrate hers

They discovered they were both the younger siblings and that their siblings went to school together graduating English High School the same day

Jordan couldn't help but wonder if she'd been there that day too

Before they knew it half the bottle of wine was gone as they made their way to the living room to watch a movie

Finding out that they both loved movies like Good Fellas and The Godfather only intrigued Jordan more

Curling up on the sofa they settled on watching The Godfather

Jordan tugged Abby closer as they settled into a comfortable spot

"Is this okay ?"

Abby nodded wondering what was in it for Jordan

Most of the men she dealt with didn't cuddle or show any type of affection

The feel of his arms around her caused her to feel feelings she never experienced before

His arms felt so good around her and she never felt that way before

Maybe it was the wine

It has to be the wine

Jordan absently began rubbing her arm with his hand and Abby felt a chill run through her body

Jordan pulled Abby closer feeling her body shudder with the chill

Testing her responses Jordan continued his gentle rubbing as Abby instinctively leaned in closer

They continued watching the movie in that position Abby enjoying Jordan's touch but not wanting it to show .

Jordan chanced a soft kiss on her neck

The soft moan that escaped Abby's mouth before she could stop it startled both of them

Jordan abruptly pulled back 

Abby snuggled closer instinctively and Jordan took that as it was okay to continue what he was doing

Abby shifted so that she faced Jordan and leaned in to kiss him

Jordan's tongue delved between her lips seeking entrance

Abby's moan caused him to harden even more

"Maybe we need to stop "Jordan whispered putting the brakes on .

"Jordan don't stop please " Abby whispered

"It's too soon Abby "

"Fuck timing " Abby breathed

Jordan pulled back unsure "I don't want a one night stand Abs "

Without another word Jordan kissed her closed mouth softly and was gone from her apartment before Abby could stop him
