John and I left. We intended to never turn around, no matter how much we missed Liverpool. A lot of my time was spent thinking about how crazy I was for running away with John. Crazy or not, I wouldn't complain. John took good care of me. I couldn't help but think my old feelings for him were coming back every time I saw him glance away from the road just to give me a grin.
----------4 months later-----------
After all the time passed we'd ended up broke in Germany. Hamburg to be exact. It wasn't that bad, we had a decent apartment at least. As for our "relationship", we were offically together. Of course it took a while, I mean, he was kinda engaged and I had left Richard. Richard... I wondered about him a lot, things like if he missed me or hated me for going. I missed him more than I'd like to admit, but I just couldn't say no to John.
I was brought out of my thoughts when John pulled into a small club and spoke. "I've got a surprise for you."
I smiled and climbed out along with him, "A surprise?"
I didn't know what to expect, only that the chance of it being a good surprise was little to no chance at all. As we stepped through the doors to the club I was greeted by loud music, warm air, and the smell of alcohol. Three men took the stage and it took me a while to notice them. When I did and realized who they were I grinned, "John, look!"
On the stage stood, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Richard Starkey.
When I turned around I found John had gone missing. I made my way through the crowd and finally found him, getting on stage with the others.
Paul smiled as his eyes found me. I waved and found that Richard had also spotted me. He gave me a smile, but I could see the hurt that came with it.
I watched them play and noticed how at home they looked on stage. I didn't realize how much I missed them until right then.
