"are you scared of rides?" taehyung playfully nudged jisoo in the shoulder.

"no." she shook her head but her eyes revealed the lie. she looked at the rollercoaster with such fear that taehyung chuckled lightly.

"oh, so you are?" he smirked.

"i said i'm not." jisoo said. "i just don't like them."

"jisoo." jimin came from behind her, linking his arm with hers. "ride this one with me." he pleaded.

"i- uhh." jisoo stuttered, she felt no choice but to go on it since it's kinda jimin's day and he asked her but she couldn't lie and say she wasn't absolutely terrified of it.

"please?" he pouted.

jisoo found herself looking at taehyung unconsciously. he had a little grin on his face and jisoo wanted nothing more than to wipe it off.

"sure." she nodded and jimin jumped in excitement.

"let's go!" he pulled her towards the line. it was kinda late so there was a very short line and before they knew it, it was their turn. "you can sit with taehyung." jimin said to jisoo. "jungkook is getting some snacks so i'll sit with chaeyoung." he said.

jisoo didn't have any time to respond when she was suddenly sitting in the seat with taehyung beside her.

the staff came shortly after and buckled them in, pushing the metal bar down far enough to protect them from falling. the rollercoaster began to move. slowly it drove up a steep hill before accelerating fast down. jisoo closed her eyes tightly, she felt her heart knocking at her ribs. she was extremely petrified of heights and this rollercoaster was up high enough to make her faint.

jisoo tightly held on to seatbelt and prayed for the ride to be over.

she leaned back, scrunching her face because her neck kept falling back. there was a cold breeze lingering in the air, her knuckles turned white from holding on to the bar too tight.

she heard a chuckle come from beside her, taehyung was so enjoying this. jisoo leaned back a little and didn't dare open her eyes. since the rollercoaster was at its peak, taehyung put an arm around the girl slightly pulling her to his side.

though there was a frosty air that hung low in the atmosphere, jisoo felt warmth rise to her cheeks. the thrust of air from when the rollercoaster zoomed down the hill tossed jisoo to taehyung's side causing her to curl into his chest. though the ride was short of a minute, it felt like years. the fear of falling and dying scared jisoo to the point where she didn't even remove herself from taehyung.

she stayed close to him, allowing his arms to envelope around her body to keep her warm. her cheeks flushed bright red, the heat rising. jisoo felt her heart skip a beat when taehyung's grip around her tightened after another upside down twist. her heart fluttered and she couldn't even deny that she liked feeling this way.

by this time, jisoo wasn't even paying attention to the ride and the nauseous feeling that began to build up in the pit of her stomach. now, she was so focused on the warmth that kept her cosy and the thoughts of taehyung that managed to distract her from her fear of heights. she wondered how it could be, how taehyung could take her mind off such thing that she has been scared of since she was a little child. but he did and she was so grateful for it.

"hey, its over." taehyung whispered. she also heard chuckles that she matched to chaeyoung and jimin's voice. after realising that she was so close to taehyung even when the ride was over, she felt so embarrassed.

she quickly detached herself from taehyung and jumped off the ride from the other side. they awkwardly walked back out, now standing in the middle of the park. soon, they were joined by jungkook who was carrying a handful of snacks and also some drinks for all of them.

"hey, guys." jungkook smiled, jimin already skipping to his side.

"let's get some food, i'm hungry." chaeyoung complained, everyone else nodding in agreement. as they walked to the nearest restaurant, taehyung slowed down a little matching his pace to jisoo's who slagged behind the rest of the group.

"never knew you liked me this much, jisoo."

a/n: it's been a month and i'm so sorry. i know you guys probably hate me now but it's so hard sitting down and writing. i mean i have a plan on how i want this story to go but i can't bring myself to actually sit down and concentrate. i don't want you guys to think i'm not committed because i am. i really hope you guys can stay with me and like this book despite the fluctuations in update time.

also, one more thing. bts came to london for a concert tue+wed in the o2. literally one hour away from my house and i couldn't see them. me and my friends were so depressed at school and home and we cried so much because we were just annoyed that we couldn't see them.

but hopefully at least once in my lifetime, i wish to see them.
