Yuna's POV

"Miss Lee? You're up last. Please follow me." the nurse walks back in the room with her contagious smile. I stand up from my chair and turn to my mother, who was already quick on her feet. We exchange a peaceful hug - no words spoken. I smile at her before turning around and following the nurse into the never-ending hallway.

I take a look at the numbered doors. Some numbers are green, some are red and most are purple.

I know damn well what this means. They have green serum controlled rooms, just like red and purple ones. Whoever goes in a purple room never comes out alive, as sad as it is to admit.

As I follow the nurse, I see Taemin walking back towards us, lips parted open and pupils as dilated as they can get. When we walk past each other, I lay a hand on his shoulder, a frown on my face. He flinches away from my touch and continues to walk monotonously to the waiting room.

"Tae—" I begin to call out his name when the nurse abruptly grabs onto my wrist and drags me into a room.

I didn't see any numbers or colors on the door, meaning I'm okay for now.

"This is where you will take your test, Miss Lee. Have a seat, feel comfortable. Doctor Maeng will arrive shortly." she points at the chair in the middle of the room before showing herself out, leaving me alone at last. I quickly glance around me, debating whether or not I should sit down just yet.

I can feel my heartbeat in my throat.

The door bursts open and I snap my head around to find a fine looking man entering the room and carefully closing the door behind him. He flashes me a shy smile and walks over to me to shake my hand.

"Hello, Miss Lee. I'm Doctor Maeng and I will give you your test today." we exchange a firm handshake before I take place on the chair and he examines a few things on his clipboard. My eyes wander around the room, scanning the white walls and while tile floor.

My heartbeat increases.

"So... I see here you had an impressive 15% back to when you took your first test." he clears his throat and I nod anxiously, still avoiding eye contact.

"Do you think it has increased, Miss Lee?" he looks down at me in a pretty intimidating way. I lock our gazes for a mere second before looking away again, swallowing the heavy lump at the back of my throat.

I can feel my brain going at a hundred miles per hour.

"N-no, sir..."

"Doctor, please." he corrects me and walks around the chair to stand by my right.
