"Yunaaaaa~"
I whip my head towards the sound of a deep, hoarse voice, my hands instinctively sealing my journal shut before shoving it under the pile of straw.
"What are you doing here alone, you idiot..." Taehyung stumbles over his own self as he barges in the stall where I'm currently sitting, an empty bottle of soju holding on for dear life in his right hand.
"Jesus fucking Christ, Kim Taehyung... how much did you have to drink?" I arise on my feet and glare at the drunken mess before me as I patiently wait for him to answer.
"Why do you want to know? Does that bother you?" a cocky grin spreads onto his flawless figure when he steps closer and closer, making my frown wash away as I back up cautiously to the wall behind me.
When he successfully backs me up enough so that I can't run away, he places a hand against the wall and pushes his weight against his arm to bring his face mere inches away from mine.
It's only now that I realize he's only wearing a t-shirt — perhaps because the alcohol makes him feel like it's a hot night, when in reality; it's definitely not. I whimper at the sight of veins slowly beginning to stand out on his arm, signaling his strength to keep himself steady.
But my nose suddenly scrunches up in disgust when I feel his breath against my lips — a breath reeking of alcohol.
"Go away. I'm not in the mood to be your punching bag tonight." I stare at a few embers dancing outside the window due to the big campfire the boys decided to throw for tonight's celebration.
"Punching bag? When were you ever my—"
His lips seal shut when we both hear subtle noises coming from the back of the barn, our heads snapping towards the front of the stall simultaneous.
When his eyes are back on mine, I notice they hold worry, almost as if he is anxious — something I never knew Kim Taehyung was capable of feeling.
His breaths suddenly become much quicker as his gaze swerves back to the door when the noises reverberate again.
Carefully, I grab him by the wrist and lead him to the door, praying to baby Jesus that he won't make too much noise with his obnoxious steps, but to my surprise; he's just as alerted as I am.
