     dear diary,

the days have passed without anything really happening. the three boys kept bickering every single day, which made my patience grow thinner and thinner each time the sun was rising.

hoseok is, and to my biggest relief, the most mature of them all. he is 23 years old after all, which explains his maturity and sense of responsibility. every time taemin would want to start a fight with jimin, he would always stop them and try to reason them, which, thank god, really helped me get through the days. but he also had his moments where he would start an argument, in most cases with taemin since the two apparently can't stand each other.

hoseok and jimin have been getting along pretty good lately. they always help each other out when they make breakfast or when they need to start a fire, a smile on their faces. it warms my heart every time they make progress and i'm happy to say that it's almost every single day. they almost seem like friends...

almost.

as for me, i'm just patiently counting the days until i get to see my mom again. i hope she made it home okay and didn't have too much trouble driving in the snow that's been covering the ground for the past few days. she must be worried sick about where i am.

the junkies have officially taken over the city, according to jimin who went a few days ago. he's the only one of us brave enough to go there, so every time he goes we ask him to run a few errands for the camp.

i've been thinking about running away for the longest time, there's basically nothing that's keeping me here, except for the fact that i care for the three brats. without them, i don't know where i would be right now. probably dead in some corner, my blood vessels clean and dry — all thanks to a junky of some sort.

"What are you writing?" Hoseok sits on the ground next to me, which makes me flinch in fear and shut my journal in one quick motion. Placing it carefully next to me, I shoot him a soft smile, but my smile disappears when I see him pulling out a cigarette.

"Uhh, nothing... I was just... thinking about my mom that's all." we both look up to the stars and stay in silence for a bit before the ruffling sound of him looking through his pocket reverberates in the quiet night. He pulls out a lighter for his lung-killer and I'm happy that this time he doesn't offer me one after the few attempts he tried to make me smoke with him.
