Jimin's POV

"And you think they could've ran away?" I can hear Yoongi mumble gainst his clenched fist as I approach the camp, which causes me to gulp harshly.

I look down at Yuna — who's still miraculously asleep in my arms — and frown a little bit.

It really hit her hard...

"I don't know... it's so unlike them." Taehyung sighs deeply while running a hand through his brown locks and when he looks up, our eyes instantly meet.

His expression falls down as his eyes widen at the speed of light and it doesn't take long before he's running up to me in panic.

"You bast—"

I clasp my hand onto his mouth to prevent him from shouting profanities while staring down at Yuna and his eyes immediately softens when he sees her sleeping.

His lips softly part open, eyes caught in a trance, and it's like all of his worries wash away.

"I'll go tuck her in and we can talk after." I walk past him without any remorse and I hear him sigh behind my back as I enter the old barn.

Carefully, I place Yuna down on her favorite pile of straw and as my knee presses against the straw, I feel an unusual bump hidden in the yellow bristles.

I furrow my brows, silently plunging my hand in and my fingertips lay upon a book.

I pull it out and blow off the dust on the top to reveal its plain leather cover. There's no title, no nothing. Just a plain brown book.

But when I open it, my heart immediately halts in my chest. My eyes skim over the lines imprinted of a dark ink, all sorts of emotions running through my mind.

It's a journal.

Her journal.

I glance up at Yuna whose face was scrunched up in fear, but eyes peacefully closed, and a tear suddenly rolls down her cheek. My lips slip open and I hover over her to wipe her tear away, but as soon as I do so, another one pearls in the corner of her eye.
