Yuna's POV

A dim light obstructs my sight when I attempt to open my eyes which causes me to blink several times to adjust to the daylight striking through the dusty barn window.

Sitting up carefully, I look at my surroundings to realize I'm sitting on a pile of straw in a stall — a different one from my favorite. I stand up to roam around the barn before finding my way outside as I'm searching for my friends.

I smile lightly when I see Jimin cooking some left overs on the campfire — all alone, crouched down into a tiny ball. I make my way over to him and sit by his side, gaining his attention as he smiles at me.

"Morning, sleepy head."

"Morning... where is everybody?" I shoot him a glance and his lips instantly purse upwards, which makes me squint my eyes suspiciously.

"Are you hungry?" he attempts to change the subject as he rotates the meat, an innocent smile resting on his lips.

"Where is she." I demand, my jaw clenching tightly as I glare at the boy.

"Don't worry, she's fine..."

"Jimin."

He sighs deeply before running a hand through his strawberry blonde hair, knowing well enough that he can't fool anybody.

"They went to the city." his eyes glance over at me and they soon dissolve into two thin lines as he chuckles at my shocked expression.

"The city?! Why would they go there?! Especially without me?!" I stand onto my feet in the matter of blinking, eyes scanning around the property to make sure this isn't some dumb prank they're trying to pull on me.

But I know far too well it isn't.

"Yuna, please calm down. It's literally no big de—"

"No big deal, my ass! I swear the amount of times I wanted to go to see my mom..." I stare off into the distance, tears slowly coming up my eyes, "and he knew it! I bet he went just to piss me off, I knew he fucking hated my guts, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!" I suddenly burst into tears, surprising my own self at how fast I am to jumping to conclusions, but I can't help myself as the tears prickle down my cheeks and I sink down to my knees.

Crouching down next to me, Jimin leans closer to stare in the depth of my eyes and his thumbs gently brush my under eyes, causing my tears to roll over his silver rings. I sob quietly, unable to utter a word, incapable to move an inch, as he smiles sadly at me.
