   *No POV*

     "Kai, Scarlett, there's a series of one-length tunnels up ahead. We must time it right to get you two off of there!"

     The nindroids returned once again and shot at them, Kai backing up and tripping. He fell off of the truck.

     "Kai!" Scarlett cried.

     He was hanging on in between the two trucks, noticing the car coming by to help him. "Hurry, jump now!"

     But he missed the chance as the nindroid grabbed his leg. The tunnel finally came up, Scarlett and one of the three nindroids ducking while two were beheaded.

     The nindroid finally brought Kai back up, and the two began their combat. Scarlett easily kicked it off, however, and smiled.

     PIXAL finally arrived to them. "Now is no time to fight!"

     The trucks exited the tunnel, but the car hit another truck and got stuck. Kai fended off another nindroid.

     "PIXAL, where are you? We don't have much time!" Scarlett said, fighting off another droid.

     "Tied up, at the moment."

     She then drove, following the truck. Unfortunately, the nindroids kept shooting at the car, but PIXAL drove one of the trucks to the mountain, causing it to hit the next entry of the tunnel and an explosion to occur.

     Kai laid on his back, lifting the nindroid up. It scratched the ceiling, sparks flying and earning a grin from the ninja.

     "You like that, Sparky?"

     Scarlett looked down, and her eyes widened at the sight. "Kai, don't!"

     There was a liquid spilling from the truck, and a spark had just landed on it. This caused fire to erupt and it quickly followed the path.

     "Oops."

     The nindroid was hit on the sign and it was released from Kai's grasp. The two stared at the ground and then at the car, which stopped when a nindroid shot a beam.

     "PIXAL, we gotta go!" Kai shouted. "Like, now!"

     "I can't get to you! There's no time!"

     Kai formed an idea, grabbing Scarlett's hand and running to the front on the truck. He pulled her under the first truck that held Pythor and Cryptor.

     The explosion, along with the entire chase, left the enemy with only one truck.

     "Kai, Scarlett! Can either of you hear me?"

     "Loud and clear!" Scarlett answered, hiding under the truck with the red ninja.

     "Well, maybe not so clear in the back of this truck!" Kai added.

     The two heard cheering from the other end, and then the laugh of Pythor.

     "We lost them! We might have lost one payload, but we still have the other."

     "Excellent," said a voice from the other line. It was clear who it was. "Head to the launch site."

     "On my way!"

     "Listen up," Kai said, his voice a whisper. "The Overlord's alive."

     This time, it was Wu who spoke. "What? Do you know where they're heading?"
